I choose this course so that I can upgrade my skill set. There is a good faculty-student ratio, and due to its being an Institute of National importance, The college attracts the best faculty. Almost all of our professors are PhDs from IIT/IIM and have worked in industry before stepping into academics. All the exams are conducted in a very time-bound manner and results are declared strictly as per the academic calendar.

The teaching method is slightly boring because fewer students will come to the lecture hall. Every 2 months exam will become difficult level depending on the students

One branch is of 120 student strength of them 30 are girls and the rest boys. The faculty staffs are PhDs and MTech from renounced colleges all over India, and some of them studied abroad. There are 2 exams per semester mainly Mid Term and End Term. The interval of time between exams is 1.5 to 2 months. Exams are a bit difficult but easy to do if you carefully listen to the teachers.

Ques
Can I get any branch in NIT Goa, Jaipur, or Delhi if my JEE Mains rank is 180k (I am in the general category)?

● Top Answer By Ritam Yashu on 28 Aug 21

Ans
It's nearly impossible to get any branch in any of the colleges mentioned above. The colleges mentioned above are all NITs in particular NIT Goa, NIT Jaipur, and NIT Delhi.  None of the NITs open admission for the rank of around 180k so it would be better if you should prepare well and appear for the exam in the next year or take admission in any private college. There's no chance that any NIT would offer admission for 180k rank.

Ques
Which is a better option: CSE at Mnit Jaipur or IT at IIIT Allahabad?

● Top Answer By Subham Agarwal on 20 Apr 23

Ans
IIIT Allahabad is a great place for students who are interested in programming in comparison to MNIT Jaipur. It has a strong coding culture and is the first college to introduce a competitive programming course as a semester course. If you are considering IIIT Allahabad, you should know that In the NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) 2021 rankings for engineering colleges in India, IIIT-Allahabad was ranked 46 for its CSE program specifically. In the Outlook-ICARE India Rankings 2021 for engineering colleges in India, IIIT-Allahabad was ranked 23 for its CSE program specifically. In the India Today Rankings 2021 for engineering colleges in India, IIIT-Allahabad was ranked 30 for its CSE program specifically. In the QS India University Rankings 2021, IIIT-Allahabad was ranked 47 for its Computer Science and Information Systems program specifically. IIIT-A also offers excellent packages for IT students. IIIT Allahabad has a strong reputation for producing skilled IT professionals, and its recent placement record is a testament to this. Here are some highlights of the recent placements for the IT program at IIIT Allahabad: The average package of the IT program at IIIT Allahabad was around 19 LPA, with the highest package being 47 LPA. Companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Google, Oracle, and Adobe have been among the regular recruiters at IIIT Allahabad for the IT program. Around 90% of the students from the IT program were placed, with a significant number of them receiving multiple offers from leading companies in the IT industry. Many students from the IT program at IIIT Allahabad secured internships with top companies such as Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Goldman Sachs. The IT program at IIIT Allahabad has a strong alumni network, with many graduates working in leading IT companies in India and abroad. This network provides current students with valuable connections and opportunities for internships and job placements. IIIT-A is also a great place for those who want to learn programming, even if they have no prior experience. Many students who come to IIIT-A with little or no knowledge of coding have developed their skills significantly. Overall, IIIT-A is a worthy place for students who love programming and want to develop their skills in this field.

Ques
Which is beter NIT Kurukshetra or MNIT Jaipur?

● Top Answer By Suraj Kumar on 19 Apr 21

Ans
The preferred choice between the NIT Kurukshetra and MNIT Jaipur depends upon various factors such as faculty, fee, placement, diversity, ranking, research opportunities, infrastructure, etc. Every college is holding a specialty in a distinct branch. Below given are some factors that can assist you in landing at the right decision. Ranking: According to the NIRF Ranking of Engineering 2020, the ranks secured by the two institutes are - NIT Kurukshetra - 40 and MNIT Jaipur - 35. Fees:The fee for four years of engineering at NIT Kurukshetra is 2.27 Lakhs whereas for MNIT Jaipur, it is INR 3.79 Lakhs Placement Particulars NIT Kurukshetra MNIT Jaipur Average CTC INR 10.91 LPA INR 8.03 LPA Highest CTC INR 43.31 LPA INR 38 LPA No. of Eligible Students 640 497 No. of Students placed 423 402 Other Factors NIT Kurukshetra is well-known for its CSE, IT, and Mechanical branch. NIT Kurukshetra awards scholarships to meritorious students whereas, MNIT Jaipur gives scholarships to deserving students (economically weak). The campus infrastructure of MNIT is beautiful, but the faculty of NIT-K is better at imparting knowledge to students. In the long run, it does not matter which college you have studied at because both the colleges leave you at a similar place. It is wrong to look only for the cut-off of MNIT Jaipur and conclude that it is better. Most of the students are from Kota, which raises their home state cut-off, eventually raising the overall cut-off.

Ques
Which one is better, doing CSE at NIT Calicut or NIT Jaipur?

● Top Answer By Tania Dey on 23 Mar 21

Ans
The list should be something like this, and this is not a fixed one; it may vary year by year. NIT Trichy>NIT Surathkal>NIT Warangal>MNNIT Allahabad>MNIT Jaipur /NIT Calicut>SVNIT Surat / NIT Nagpur>MANIT Bhopal / NIT Kurukshetra / NIT Rourkela>NIT Durgapur / NIT Jamshedpur>NIT Jalandhar/ NIT Delhi>NIT Raipur/ NIT Hamirpur. I would like to suggest MNIT Jaipur.  CSE at MNIT Jaipur is one of the finest when compared with all the NITs. The faculty is good and the facilities are amazing, in terms of labs, connectivity, etc. One can really expect steeper increases in placements and their packages in the coming years. It is great in terms of crowd diversity. Now let us take a look at NIT Calicut: NIT Calicut is the better-ranked college when it comes to NITs. It is better reputed when it comes to classroom teaching and academic details. Extra-Curricular activities are also encouraged a lot. There’s ample free time to engage in clubs. Coming to CSE, the placements of Calicut are much better than NIT Jaipur as well. Categories NIT Calicut MNIT Jaipur Course Fee 5.42 lakh 6.56 lakh Placement Percentage 73.5% 73.22% Highest CTC 18 LPA 20 LPA Average CTC 5 LPA 8 LPA Recruiting Companies Qualcomm Technologies, HCL, Accenture, Goldman Sachs etc. Analog Devices, Qualcomm, Xilinx, Texas, etc.  CSE at MNIT Jaipur is a much better option than any core branch in the top 3 NITs - especially if your career plans are job-oriented and you want to work comfortably at least a few years right after you graduate. The strength of any institute comes from its very own students. Students achieve and the institute flourishes. Students do their best and the institute counts. So choice is yours. Take your time and make your decision on the basis of your instinct and where and how you see yourself in upcoming life.

Ques
Which is better for electrical engineering: MNIT Jaipur or MNNIT Allahabad?

● Top Answer By Souvick Gupta on 24 Apr 21

Ans
While both of these colleges offer good education, MNNIT Allahabad holds an edge over MNIT Jaipur. I have friends studying in both the colleges and their first-hand experiences clearly depict how better MNNIT Allahabad is. In MNIT Jaipur you will find that the teachers are not at all supportive of you deviating from the regular classroom courses. You will be loaded with worthless projects, assignments, and other obsolete works so that they make sure you can’t join any coaching and other co-curricular activities. The faculty will specifically hold classes and project discussions during the coaching time to make sure you are always occupied. Moreover, you will get little to no support for placements. On the other hand, the faculty at MNNIT Allahabad is very supportive of core branches like electrical. You will be encouraged to follow your passion. MNNIT Allahabad also has a better placement ratio as compared to the latter. Also, you can see many students from MNNIT Allahabad clearing various competitive exams such as GATE, IES, Civil Services, etc. All thanks to its academic-friendly environment. Overall, it is highly recommended to choose MNNIT Allahabad over MNIT Jaipur any day. The better placement ratio, friendly and supportive faculty, etc, make it the perfect place for new engineering aspirants like you.

Ques
Which is better, CSE at NIT Rourkela or CSE at MNIT Jaipur? Why?

● Top Answer By Radharaman Das on 26 Mar 21

Ans
MNIT Jaipur has always been in the lead in MHRD ranking and ahead of NIT Rourkela. I believe you are asking for a DASA candidate, because of its better connectivity to the Gulf countries, I would strongly recommend Jaipur.  One of MNIT Jaipur’s most appealing areas is how close it is to the main city but it is also not in a very overcrowded section of the city. Everything is accessible on foot. Mess food isn't that good, but it isn't awful again. The weather is nice but it is a little hot but very stable in April otherwise. Categories NIT Rourkela MNIT Jaipur Course Fee 6.4-7.93 lakh 6.56 lakh Placement Percentage 80-90% 80-90% Highest CTC 12 LPA 10-15 LPA Average CTC 5-6 LPA 5-7.5 LPA Recruiting Companies Amazon, Microsoft, Samsung, Nokia, Tata, Schneider, IOCL, GAIL, HP, Direct, etc. De Shaw & Co., Arcesium, Goodman Sachs, Amazon, JP Morgan and Chase, Texas Instruments, Samsung, etc. NIT Rourkela is a leading body. However, it is ultimately up to the person how many they apply and study and use the information in the work interviews and career while also developing internally and externally into a full individual as long as 2 institutions stand similar and you receive the approval offer from both. You can decide 3 things: character, culture, and ability. There are three factors. You can get the third 'C' from your college or university, but there can be no institution to instill in you for the first two, which is what makes a long-term difference.

Ques
Which one is better for architecture: mnit jaipur or nit trichy?

● Top Answer By Binayak Majumder on 31 Aug 21

Ans
The department of Architecture at NIT Trichy is top-notch. I know a few people from the NIT Trichy Architecture department, and I have heard good reviews about it. The department is ranked among the top 10 colleges for architecture and it lives up to the expectation. In fact, the department of architecture is among the best in NIT Trichy in terms of faculty, facilities, and students. In the 2020 placement drive, the average CTC offered was 6 LPA.  If you are getting an opportunity to join the college, I will suggest you go for it.

Ques
Which is best: NIT Calicut, NIT Bhopal, NIT Jaipur, or NIT Rourkela?

● Top Answer By Vikas Shankar Nayak on 27 Aug 21

Ans
Honestly, it totally depends on your choice. If you want as per placement rankings then NIT Calicut surely beats NIT Rourkela which in turn is better than NIT Jaipur and NIT Bhopal. As some of my friends studied at NIT Rourkela, I can assure you that the overall campus is improving very fast. Also they offer good placements. Many famous companies are hiring a lot of students now.  If you are seeking a good infrastructure, NIT Rourkela is the best of all NITs.  For overall rankings, you can refer to MHRD, National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF).  Certain departments at NITR leave a lot to be desired, where Calicut has the edge.  All is better than Bhopal and Jaipur in placements though. However, in terms of infrastructure, campus life, hostel life, sports facilities, the overall holistic development of an individual NIT Rourkela is a good option.  Parameters NIT Calicut NIT Bhopal NIT Jaipur NIT Rourkela Tuition Fee INR 16,000 INR 70,000 INR 1.6 LPA INR 7,500 Placement Percentage 73.5% 82% 73.22% 95% Average Package INR 11.57 LPA INR 7.56 LPA INR 8.03 LPA INR 8.75 Placements cannot be the only judging factor. Remember that students from the best departments at all these campuses do land up getting good IT jobs with a decent salary package.

Ques
I am very confused between these two. Which one should I choose: MNIT Jaipur CSE or IIIT Allahabad IT?

● Top Answer By Mohit Singh on 30 Jun 21

Ans
IIIT Allahabad's IT is one of the best in this league. This branch is at par with CS. Academics: Academics are given more importance here. From the first semester itself, IIIT Allahabad begins imparting programming knowledge. Subjects such as chemistry and engineering drawing are taught later on as these are considered as less useful subjects. Coding Culture: The coding culture is exceptional at IIIT Allahabad. Most of the top-ranked students in competitive programming at present are from IIIT while the number of students from MNIT is few. Campus: There is a lot of similarity between the campus and hostels of both the institutions. IIIT Allahabad is younger than MNIT, therefore, has an advanced campus compared to MNIT. Placements: The placement opportunities at IIIT Allahabad IT are tremendous and better than MNIT CS. Students at IIIT Allahabad land high package offers. According to the recent placement statistics the highest and average CTC offered to IIIT A is 43 LPA and 20 LPA. Whereas the highest and average for MNIT is 38 LPA and 8 LPA. Overall, opting for IIIT Allahabad would be a great decision.

Ques
Which one is better, CSE at MNIT Jaipur or NIT Durgapur?

● Top Answer By Palak Ghosal on 26 May 21

Ans
There are not many differences between the institutes. You can prefer MNIT, Jaipur only if the location is advantageous on your side. The difference, however, is not exactly a lot.  Placements: The average placement in Jaipur has been better for several years now. However, if you have the will to work, with relevant education, then the opportunities and offers provided by either of these institutes are the same. Various top companies recruit almost the same number of students from both of these institutes.  For instance, in 2019, 11 students were recruited by Microsoft from NIT Durgapur with a package of 39 LPA each. 4 other students were recruited by Amazon with 20 LPA and above. There are several others too.  Here is the placement reports of the year 2020 for both the institutes, Parameters  MNIT, Jaipur NIT, Durgapur No. of Students Placed 497 456 Highest CTC INR. 38 LPA INR. 33 LPA Average CTC INR. 8.9 LPA INR. 9.09 LPA Top Recruiters Amazon, DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, Capgemini, Deloitte Samsung, Cognizant, Brahmos, JCB, Alstom, ZS Associates Thus, there are somewhat the same opportunities in both. Google and Facebook have also visited the campus to recruit students previously. DE SHAW, Samsung, R & D, Directi, Goldman Sachs are other top-tier companies that visit the campus timely.  In the case of the brand name and as an overall institute, MNIT Jaipur is considered better than NIT Durgapur.  MNIT is better in terms of infrastructure when compared to NIT Durgapur. Although, there are major upgrades and infra-development occurring in NIT Durgapur, yet it will still take about 3 to 5 years more.
