To get into NIT Rourkela one has to appear for jee main examination. Jee main exam generally happens twice A year. One around Feb, another around May-June. One has to visit Jee main website to get info about this exam and related fees. According to Percentile, the rank will be awarded. Based on rank, counselling will be done by JOSSA where candidates can fill up College preference. There is some reservation policy also for home state students and different category students.

anyone who appeared jee mains can participate in the admission process. the admission process is conducted by JOSAA. The application form is found on josaa official website. OBC students get a quota of obc rank, not general rank. no improvement is needed.

The admission process was very fair. I gave MAT entrance exam. The student who scores 60% or above is eligible. They can give entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, and CMAT. You can find all the details on the NIT website. 60% or 6.5 CGPA for General Students. 6.0 CGPA or 55% in the case of SC/ ST. From my side the admission process was good.

I had appeared for the CMAT exam. Within a month I got my result and I had scored 89 percentile. Then onwards I kept on searching for different colleges for MBA programs. I visited NIT Rourkela's official site and I applied for the course. then after the ending date, I got a mail about being shortlisted for the GD/PI round. The date and time were provided in the email about the interview. I appeared for the GD along with other students then it was time for a personal interview. It hardly took 15 mins. Then after 15 days or so the results were announced and got the mail for selection.

For admission to NIT Rourkela, you have to clear JEE Mains with an AIR of around 35000 to just get a seat in the college. For the admission process, the counseling processing is done by JOSSA. JOSSA selects students in 6 rounds and 2 additional rounds conducted by CSAB. After the selection, the college verifies documents and calls for admission and physical document verification.

For the School of Management, NIT Rourkela eligibility criteria are 1. Student graduate from any stream and a score above 60% or 6.5 CGPA. 2. The candidate should appear in CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT. 3. Group discussions. 4. Anyone can take admitted by the process of JEE Mains (JOSSA counseling), DASA(for outside Indian students) After qualifying for the exam participating in jossa counseling and take admitted to this college, yes reservation benefits applied 59% for the home state and 50% for other states and also the reservation by the category.

First, we have to get a good rank in jee main exam and then applied for college in jossa. All reservation criteria are the same as the other colleges and are given by jossa on their website. After the end of the jossa counsel, you have to apply for admission to the NIT Rourkela website.
