Likes
- It is very good and greeny campus facilities are on top level and the faculties are quite good and supporting.
- There is no ragging culture here seniors are friendly and quite helpful .
- There are multiple opportunities to shine here rather than academics the sports facilities are good and the fests are mesmerizing.
- Good place to learn different skills and a healthy competition from like minded peoples.
Dislikes
- It's classes are quite hectic and branch buildings are much farther from hostels.
Remarks :
I chose NIT ROURKELA because it is the tier 1 college and have the nirf ranking as 19 by 2024 it is quite good from new IITs. It is a government funded institute anda reputed one. It is one of the dream college of mine .
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum that I chose was mining. The curriculum that aur institute makes is quite sufficient to tackle real life problems when you go out of the institute to begin your professional life. It is good to be in this college.
Internships Opportunities :
There are multiple internship opportunities in this college from on campus or off campus. The may give you ppos for your better work. Top companies like tata, adani , google, Microsoft, l&t, and many more comes for internship.
Placement Experience :
The campus placement are much better during this recession, our institute has a good alumini which provides a good placement record each year. Most of the students gets placed on campus placement and some are from ppos
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fee is not here , here it is semester wise fees . We have to pay 100000 rs per semester includes hostel and mess . There are multiple scholarship that a student an aquire ... Reservation is there for categorised students , for SC/ST the tution fees is cutoff, they don't have to pay the tution fees rather they have to pay the hostel and mess fees only , and the students whose family income is less than 5 lacs per annum the get a feel wavier of 2/3 Rd of the tution fees.
Campus Life :
This institute provide diversity, it's facilities are not only good in academics but in extra curricular activities. There are many tech fests , cultural events, sports event which encourages students to show their hidden talents
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facility is quite good, there are like 7 hostel for boys and 2 hostel for girls. The meals provided are good and hygienic the are pure quality and the menu is like a menu of a restaurant . The rooms are well spaced and maintained.
Faculty :
Faculties are good and experienced their teaching techniques are good and some times bad also they sometimes focus on competition of syllabus rather than understanding of the topics. The labs are good and well mentioned Exams conducted are good but they give no time to study as they keep exams consucatively.

Faculty :

Tell us the detailed fee structure (yearly) and scholarship details (if any). Mention the fees for the complete course along with the fact that it is increasing or not. Please consider including: The year-wise fees you paid (or will be paying). Mention the Tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees and the other compulsory charges during the course completion as per the category (like Management, SC, ST). Also, share the fees of your batchmates for categories other than yours. Names and amounts of scholarships or financial aid that are available for students. Like merit cum need.

Boring yet peaceful life - ITER
Placement Experience :
Placement is like 6/10. (No comments further on this topic ????) Popular companies visited was Microsoft, Deloitte, tcs , Accenture, etc. Highest package till now was 40 lpa ig ????and avg package is 8lpa(as per in paper , reality... well you know????) Around 60 percent of students are getting placed in their final yr. My plans after getting a degree is... Yes you guessed correct, being a slave????

Placement Experience :
Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan has not released the official report for 2023 or 2024. However, the NIRF report 2024 is out, which includes the 2023 placement data. As per the report, 1,836 BTech and 52 MTech students were placed during the 2023 drive. Further, 100 PG (3-year) Medical, 85 BDS, 23 MDS, 164 MBA, 42 LLB, 87 BA LLB/ BBA LLB, and 67 LLM students were placed during the SOA University placements 2023. The median package offered to BTech and MTech students was INR 5.75 LPA and INR 4.80 LPA, respectively. For Medical and Dental courses, the median package ranged between INR 5.40 LPA and INR 10.80 LPA. The median package offered to MBA students during Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan placements 2023 was INR 4.80 LPA. Earlier, the highest package offered during the 2022 placements was INR 42 LPA. Further, 164 recruiters participated in the placement process 2022 and placed students in new-age job profiles. The prominent recruiters of SOA University placements 2022 included Accenture, Adani etc.
