- The discipline in academic section. College is strict with studies and conducts bridge tests for poor scoring students
- College has a well maintained garden and overall environment
- The equipments in electronic and robotic labs have been imported from international brands
Dislikes
- They conduct less events with respect to exposure
- There is no proper place that feels like a hub
- The back gate where most essentials are fetched from is really unmaintained
Remarks :
The course required over 50% in +2 science but I got in with my jee rankings.Application form is available in the college website which gets updated frequently.there is an entrance exam for admission otherwise you can get in with your jee rankings
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course I opted for is very much relevant in the current scenario.Nowadays ai is expanding its roots in every sector so my degree in computer science with ai and ml specialisation will really be helpful
Internships Opportunities :
Companies like Google, Microsoft and a level companies' internship opportunities are given to us through mail.with good skill one can fetch an internship with stipend.Projects include water technology, aviation,robotics etc
Placement Experience :
Students are eligible to sit for campuses from 5th semester.The college brings b level companies like Wipro,Tcs,tech Mahindra, Infosys.Last year's highest package was 40 lakhs and average sits at 8 l pa .I plan for off campus placement
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for my course is justified and among the top 3 engineering colleges in odisha , cv Raman is the most affordable.College constantly provides with scholarship programs through mail and with good skills you can get in it cell of the college with stipends
Campus Life :
The college's annual fest is good in terms of arrangements and decorations but the performers that were invited weren't very influential.the tech fest is good as well as the annual sports meet .The college has clubs for activities and are well maintained
Faculty :
The faculty is very qualified as most of the professors have doctorate certificate and alumni of prestigious institutes.Some teachers are really experienced in their way of teaching and I find it very engaging

Placement Experience :
Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan has not released the official report for 2023 or 2024. However, the NIRF report 2024 is out, which includes the 2023 placement data. As per the report, 1,836 BTech and 52 MTech students were placed during the 2023 drive. Further, 100 PG (3-year) Medical, 85 BDS, 23 MDS, 164 MBA, 42 LLB, 87 BA LLB/ BBA LLB, and 67 LLM students were placed during the SOA University placements 2023. The median package offered to BTech and MTech students was INR 5.75 LPA and INR 4.80 LPA, respectively. For Medical and Dental courses, the median package ranged between INR 5.40 LPA and INR 10.80 LPA. The median package offered to MBA students during Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan placements 2023 was INR 4.80 LPA. Earlier, the highest package offered during the 2022 placements was INR 42 LPA. Further, 164 recruiters participated in the placement process 2022 and placed students in new-age job profiles. The prominent recruiters of SOA University placements 2022 included Accenture, Adani etc.
