I applied to many colleges in DU and others through CUET. I had applied for ICAR as well. The Counselling process was taking too long. I had more than enough marks for almost all the applied colleges. But due to some personal reasons, I had to stay in my state. So I chose this college. And for another college, I had made some major blunders and delays during the counseling process that led to me taking admission in ksbt. KIIT University has an Overall NIRF ranking of 15. along with studies, there are many opportunities for different co-curricular activities. Students from different nationalities get to interact. Students can apply for GATE exam. They can also go for phd which provides very vast opportunities. It has a lot of oppotunities abroad. But as of now, India is far behind.

There are around 60 to 66 students in a section. We have three section. The faculty are well trained. Most of them have Phd from respected universities. They are very friendly with us. We can easily resolve our doubts in studies by personally meeting them. Each student is assigned a mentor. We can go to them for any academic and non academic problems. Almost all faculties are very helpful. Exams are conducted twice per semester. A mid semester exam of 20 marks and end semster exam of 50 marks is conducted in every semester. Rest 30 marks is internal assesment . It includes quizes, assignments, class performance, presentations etc.Questions are mostly based on curicullum. Students who get a paper back or those who get debarred due to shortage of attendance(less than 75%) can apply to appear supplementary exams. Students with less than grade C can appear for improvrment exams.
The faculty members are experienced, knowledgeable, and supportive. Most professors maintain a healthy faculty-to-student ratio, making it easy for students to interact with them and seek academic guidance. While a few faculty members follow traditional teaching methods, the majority explain concepts clearly and encourage classroom discussions. The course curriculum is well-structured and covers both theoretical and practical aspects, although some subjects could be updated to match current industry trends. The examination system consists of internal assessments, practicals, and end-semester examinations, with a transparent and fair marking scheme. Students who attend classes regularly and prepare consistently generally perform well. Overall, the faculty, curriculum, and evaluation process contribute positively to the academic experience.
