I am taking civil engineering b/c I want to develop my carrier towards civil engg. And my father is also a civil engineer. I am interested in field work rather than computer work that's why I choose civil engg. I want to some knowledge for society by making some superstructure buildings. There is a ratio of about 1:100 among faculty students All the faculties have done Ph.D. from any college. There is proper management in the timing of exams and it seems to be somehow difficult to pass the exam.

Read Full ReviewCivile engineering is the oldest course offered by this college before even becoming NIT. The of faculty to students is fairly good. All the faculty members are highly qualified. Read Full ReviewMechanical engineering opens a gate for a number of opportunities that include GATE, PSUs, Indian Engineering Services, and many other government services. Students can also go for private companies. The faculty-student ratio in NIT Patna is around 1:20. There are adequate faculty members in the college. All of the professors and assistant professors have done Ph.D. from prestigious institutes around the world. Most of the faculty members have good teaching skills, but some of them are still preferring the years-old method of memorization which sometimes feels quite boring. Exams are held two times in a semester, Mid-sem and End-sem. Class tests are also taken occasionally. Passing the semester exams are very easy, But maintaing a good CGPA is not so easy.
Read Full ReviewI choose computer science and engineering because my interest is towards technology and enjoy solving coding problems. The faculty-student ratio is 1:75 .All the faculty are PhD holders and most of the teachers teach is very well. In one year there is two end-semester exams, two mid-semester exams and end sem exam held in six months and mid sem in there months gap. If you listen to the class and what the teacher is teaching and makes notes of it you can pass the exam easily many students study two weeks before the exam and they also pass the exam easily.
Read Full ReviewIt is one of the best planning schools running architecture since 1973 and has Masters's in Planning since 2012. Most of the faculties have graduated from IITs/NITs. Almost all faculties (Full time) have Ph.D. degrees. The student-teacher ratio is good. Exams are conducted as timely notified through academic calendar. An absolute system of marking is followed as the strength does not fit for relative grading. Exams are comparatively easy. More focus is on academic projects and portfolios.
Read Full ReviewMy rank in JEE mains is the main reason I opted for this course. The faculty: student is equal to 2:20. All the faculties are well qualified and experienced as most of them did their Ph.D. from very well-known institutions like IITs. Some of the faculties were very helpful and their teaching methodology is marvelous. There are 2 exams (mid-term and end-term) in a semester and 2 or 3 class tests/surprise tests are also conducted. The exams are not that much tough if you are studied throughout the semester.
