NIT Raipur is a public technical and research university in Raipur, India. It was founded in 1956. Engineering, technology, basic sciences, humanities, and social sciences are all available at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels at NIT Raipur. NIT Raipur Admission

Admission to 41 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs at NIT Raipur is done through national entrance exams. JEE Main scores and JoSAA counseling are used to determine admission to both UG programs. For NIT Raipur B.Tech in the CSE stream, the cut-off ranges around 9490 for the general category.

NIT Raipur also offers admission to PG courses such as M.Tech, and M.CA in Applied Geology. Admission to the two-year M.Tech and MCA programs at NIT Raipur is offered via GATE and NIMCET entrance scores followed by counseling. Candidates from outside India are selected for these courses through Direct Admission of Students from Abroad (DASA).

NIT Raipur offers scholarships to its needy students on a merit cum means basis to lessen their financial burden and promote quality education among the meritorious students of the institute. However, the NIT Raipur Scholarship's fundamental qualifications are described below. 

For admission to the NIT candidate's scholarship program parents' combined annual income should not be more than INR 2.5 lakhs. The students are given financial support of INR 25,000 for non-hostellers and INR 30,000 for hostellers as part of the Scholarship award. NIT Raipur is housed in a stunning edifice that is well-organized and represents the grandeur of the institution. There are 13 drawing halls/studios with a total space of 3510 square meters and 35 lecture halls covering a total area of 6675 square meters. The institute is located on NH-6, the Great Eastern Road, 5 km from Raipur's train station and 14 km from the airport. Numerous annual festivals or events are held by the student clubs, and participants come from universities all around the country.

The Institute is built over a 100-acre area and is situated in Raipur, the state capital of Chhattisgarh. The city of Raipur is conveniently located on the main Howrah-Mumbai railway line and has daily flights to Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Nagpur, and Bhubaneswar.
