The curriculum is like you have to give minor test 1 then mid sem exam and then Minor test 2 and then End semester exam and by compiling all the marks you will get the final score of your semester of that particular time
Read Full ReviewMy course is ECE. I have chosen this course because this sector is developing day by day, more jobs for this course, our faculty is very good and the teaching is in digital teaching using a projector, it is difficult to pass the exam with a one night reading before the exam without listening classes.
Read Full ReviewMY course in civil engineering, the faculty-student ratio is quite low as faculty are barely sufficient to full fill all the posts for the different courses no extra faculty are there at the college campus. Qualification of faculty are PhD holders and are good at teaching they have the ability to make every concept understandable to every student. the exam duration is in every 2 months there is an exam mid sem and at end, sem and the difficulty is if we attend class attentively and by a little effort we can score good marks so it is not that hard.
Read Full ReviewMy first choice was CSE but my rank is talented. Teaching me was not sufficient to get CSE so I chose ECE so that its placements are good for this branch. And my interest was in its side so I choose the ECE branch. Student ratio 8:2 boys: girls. And the faculty is good and those are good and sometimes uses projector which is useful and labs facilities also good. And exams are a bit difficult but if we study hard for 10 days we can pass easily.
Read Full ReviewThe reason for choosing the course is that I always had an interest in Technology and NIT Silchar is providing the course with good faculty and the placement scenario is also good. The faculty: student ratio is enough for all the classes. The faculty teachers are good and we also have tutorial classes for doubt-solving. Exams are conducted frequently every semester and yes we can pass the exams with average marks.
Read Full ReviewI have a deep interest in electronics so I opted for this course also the course curriculum here will not at all help you in gaining knowledge for core subjects so mostly you have to study on your own. There are 6 subjects per semester of ECE up to the 6th sem and there is only one faculty allotted for each subject. There is a tutorial for each subject which is mostly taken by TAs. All the faculties are highly educated Ph.D. in their respective specialization. Most of the faculties are graduated from NITs/IITs. Their teaching method is quite orthodox They will provide you with notes from which the maximum number of questions were asked in the exams. Blackboard /Whiteboard / Projector is the mode of teaching. There are 2 main term exams - Midsem and Endsem. These exams are conducted every 3 months. There are minor tests and IAT (Internal Assessment Test) which are taken in between the term exams. The exams are quite easy to pass if you follow class notes and attend every lecture.
Read Full ReviewECE has very good opportunities on both the core side and IT side made me choose this branch. Also I love how we deal with electronic devices. Faculty: student ratio - 1:10 There are a good no. of scholars as well as qualified professors. There are good no. of great teachers and few not perfectly able to teach well teachers too. Though the amount of knowledge and teaching techniques make the teaching staff above a good no. of NITS teaching staff. Term exams a good amount of time to be able to study and the Respective syllabus is most of the time completely covered. And good course instructions and materials are provided. So passing exams ain't a difficult task.
Read Full ReviewI choose this course because ia interested in computer science, A brief about faculty: student is approx 1:3; the teaching of teacher is excellent. time of term exam is 1 and 1/2 hours and 3 hours hard to difficult to pass
Read Full ReviewThe course curriculum is applied chemistry and chemical engineering, All profs are Ph.D. and post-doc holders their method of teaching is mainly application-oriented and not book-oriented type in each sem there are 2 exams held mid sem and the end sem mid sem happens after 2 months after the course started and the end sem occurs after one month mid sem. the exams were really difficult to pass one have to indulge in rigorous hard work
Read Full ReviewI choose MSc in applied chemistry because I want to learn and search chemical compounds. The faculty is too good, the student ratio is 1:3, Well-qualified faculty but the teaching methods are very good. Term exams are on time and not too difficult to pass.
