Ques
Which college would give the best experience and exposure in architecture, RV College of Engineering (RVCE), BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE) or Manipal School of Architecture and Planning (MSAP)?

● Top Answer By Swapnil Dasgupta on 03 Feb 22

Ans
All three of these institutes have their own advantages. Here is a brief comparison of the three. BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE) is well-connected so is Manipal School of Architecture and Planning. The architecture department of RV College of Engineering is located in a secluded area. In terms of crowd, the preference order is RVCE>BMS=MSAP. The hostel facilities offered at all these institutes are decent. If you want decent academics and lots of real-life exposure then the best option among these three is Manipal School of Architecture and Planning.

Ques
Which among these MBA colleges are worth? PES university, BMS college or RNSIT?

● Top Answer By Riya Tiwari on 07 Apr 22

Ans
PES University will be better for a management course. BMS and RNSIT are engineering colleges known for their technical degrees. PES University MBA fees are high, around INR 10 LPA. But this huge investment pays off eventually. PES University has academic partnerships with Harvard University, IBM, Earnest & Young, etc. So, you will get great exposure and opportunities. The average CTC for MBA at PES is INR 3-4.8 LPA. HP, ITC, KPMG, and E&Y are some of the major recruiters.

Ques
Which college is better, Amrita Bangalore or BMSCE?

● Top Answer By Gracy Mishra on 06 Jul 21

Ans
If you are interested in CSE then choosing the Amritapuri campus of Amrita University Bangalore will be better. One of my friends is a student of Amritapuri and so far he had a good experience at the institute. Here are some of the aspects of the institute. Campus: The campus is great and offers a decent academic environment. It has smart classrooms and a library with a good collection of books for different branches. There is no distraction due to politics. Academics: Academics at the campus is as good as you can expect from an engineering campus. The faculties are experienced. There is enough research exposure. The computer lab is well-equipped. Opportunities: There are three active clubs, i.e. FOSS, Cyber Security, ICPC. You can take part in international programming competitions under the guidance of experts in programming. You can also take part in internship programs like GSoC, Outreachy, etc. The institute also has exchange programs with reputed institutes in Europe and United States. Hostel and Food: The hostel rooms are spacious and well-furnished. There are facilities such as wifi, reading rooms, etc. The food provided at the mess is mostly vegetarian. It is not that testy. But there are canteens and restaurants nearby. Placements: It has an active placement department that will help you improve your soft skills, presentation skills. According to the recent placement statistics, the highest and average CTC offered to the students were 25 LPA and 4 LPA respectively. Students get recruited by reputed companies like Google, SAP Labs, CISCO, etc. So, going by the factors mentioned above, it is safe to say that you can’t go wrong with Amrita University Amritapuri campus.

Ques
Which college is better for computer science engineering: KIIT Bhubaneswar, MIT Pune, PES Bangalore, BMS Bangalore, or Acharya Institute of Technology Bangalore?

● Top Answer By Urmi Ray on 25 Sept 20

Ans
When talking of Bangalore, it definitely is the IT hub, and starting your career here will definitely give you great exposure when you come from a computer science background. PES, BES, and Acharya Institute are among the top-notch colleges in Bangalore and will definitely add to your career. Admission: KIIT Bhubaneswar does all its admissions via its entrance test named KIITEE. MIT Pune admits new students via JEE main / MHT CET/ BITSAT/ VITEEE/ MU OET/PERA CET exams. PES Banglore asks for 60% in 10+2 as minimum qualification and rank in PESSAT will be considered to get shortlisted for admission. And finally, BMS and Acharya Institue conduct theirs via KCET. Affiliation: People Education Society University (PES) and Bharat Education Society University (BES) are both autonomous colleges that set up high standards for the universities and the students applying for it have to go through internal exams to get in. Acharya Institute of Technology is affiliated to VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University) and approved by the AICTE. Acharya is also accredited by the NBA (National Board of Accreditation). Campus: All three institutes reside in the city of Bangalore; it will be a great opportunity for the locals as they have good options in picking up the college which provides exposure with people from across the country. If we speak of universities outside Bangalore, then there are few colleges one can consider to move forward with where MIT Pune and KIIT Bhubaneswar are in the limelight. There isn't much to distinguish among the college infrastructure and fees. The crowd in both the universities comes from diligent areas as well as the faculty is well proficient in their respective fields. Placements: The placement offers of both these universities (PES and BES) are up to the mark, making no significant difference. The average CTC offered for a PES student is around 6.8 LPA. Amazon, LT&T, Deloitte, Cisco, and Capgemini are the top recruits for PES Banglore. Microsoft, HP, and LG are the frequent recruiters of BMS Banglore. The other colleges on the list have mass recruiters like Infosys, Wipro, and TCS. If looking for a calm environment, one can pick up KIIT over MIT; but as Pune does provide better opportunities than Bhubaneswar, MIT wins over. With a lot of options in hand, it’s natural if a student gets confused picking up the perfect college. Well, it’s always the person who has to strive in the environment and thus have to make decisions accordingly.
