Karnataka PGCET 2023: Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must go through the eligibility guidelines in order to make sure they satisfy the same prior to applying. Given below are the eligibility guidelines for Karnataka PGCET 2023:
- Only Karnataka residents are eligible for OBC and SC/ST/Category-I
- All Karnataka State applicants must fall within the ambit of Karnataka domiciled
- Candidates from Karnataka and non-Karnataka for MCA/MBA can also apply.
MCA
- Full-time: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Stats/Comp. Science/Math/Business Math/Comp. App/ Business Stats (any one subject) with a minimum of 50%. (45% for SC/ST/Category I candidates in Karnataka).
- Lateral Entry: Candidates must’ve acquired a Bachelor’s degree (IT/Comp. Science) (B.Sc./ BCA) with Math in graduate level with a minimum of 50%. (45% for SC/ST/Category I candidates in Karnataka).
M.Tech/M.E./M.Arch
- Full-time- Candidates must have a valid GATE score or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% and for a tenure of 3 years;
- Part-time- Bachelor’s degree of at least 3 years with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Applicants must’ve worked for at least 3 years as of July 31. Herein only residents of Karnataka are eligible for reservation.
MBA
- Full-time- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three years of experience and a minimum aggregate of 50%. (45% in case of category I/SC/ST candidates of Karnataka).
- Part time- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree, must’ve worked for at least 3 years and acquired a minimum of 50% aggregate. (45% for SC/ST/Category I candidates)
Karnataka PGCET 2023 Application Form
While filling Karnataka PGCET 2023 application forms, candidates must provide all personal information such as their name, gender, birth date, as well as exam center preferences and academic details.

Karnataka PGCET 2023 Exam Pattern
Candidates must know Karnataka PGCET exam pattern so as to know what to expect in the exam.
- The question paper will be only available in English.
- The examination shall be in pen and paper mode (offline at test centers).
- The duration of the examination shall be 150 minutes for M.Tech/ M.E/ MCA and 120 minutes for MBA.
- The total marks shall be 100.

Karnataka PGCET 2023 Admit Card
Karnataka PGCET 2023 Admit Card will be released by the authorities for every registered candidate individually through online mode.
- Candidates will be able to download Karnataka PGCET Admit Card from the 1st week of July. The admit card shall not be distributed separately to any candidate via post or the offline mode.
- Candidates are requested to verify all the details on their admit card and incase of any discrepancy send in an application to the authorities to rectify the same.
- The deadline for the verification of details and correction will tentatively be the 2nd week of July 2023.
Karnataka PGCET 2023 Result
- Karnataka PGCET 2023 result is scheduled to be released in the month of August 2023.
- Candidates need to login using their registration ID and password, navigate to the “results” tab and then enter the necessary details such as application number/date of birth etc. in order to view the results.
- The candidate will be directed to the webpage displaying the results and they are advised to take a print out of the same for future references.
