Karnataka PGCET Application Form 2022: KEA has started the form correction of Karnataka PGCET Application Form 2022 from October 31, 2022 at kea.kar.nic.in. Candidates can correct their application form till November 2, 2022. The last date to submit the application form was October 29, 2022.

Eligibility
Karnataka PGCET Eligibility
The courses offered via PGCET Exam are MBA/ MCA/ ME/ M.Tech/ M.Arch (full-time and part-time) in various institutes in the state of Karnataka. The eligibility for each program varies, read on to know a brief about the same:
For MBA Full-time & Part-time
- Full-time: Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years (+) 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ Category-I of Karnataka candidates)
- Part-time: Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years (+) 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ Category-I of Karnataka candidates) (+) must have worked for not less than 3 years as on July 31, 2022
- Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka candidates. CheckKPGCET Reservation
- Rounding off aggregate percent is not permitted.
For MCA Full-time & Lateral Entry to 2nd year MCA
- Full-time: Bachelor’s Degree with Math/ Stats/ Comp. Sci./ Comp. App./ Comp. Prog./ Business Math/ Business Stats (any one subject) (+) 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ Category-I of Karnataka candidates).
- Lateral Entry: Bachelor’s Degree in BCA/ B.Sc(I.T./ Comp. Sci) (+) Math in 10+2/ Graduate level (+) 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ Category-I of Karnataka candidates)
For ME/ M.Tech./ M.Arch. Full-time & Part-time
- Full-time: Valid GATE Score (OR) Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years (+) 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ Category-I of Karnataka candidates)
- Part-time: Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years (+) 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ Category-I of Karnataka candidates) (+) must have worked for not less than 3 years as on July 31, 2022

Note: GATE qualifiers are exempted from the exam. However, they are required to fill the counselling/seat allotment form to participate in the admission procedure. GATE qualifiers are given first preference at the time of seat allocation provided that they fulfil the eligibility guidelines. Check here
Documents Required
Documents Required for KPGCET Registration 2022
Candidates must keep the following documents and credentials ready before they register themselves for the exam:
- 10th class marksheet
- 12th class marksheet
- Scanned copy of candidate’s passport sized photograph
- Scanned copy of candidate’s signature
- Scanned copy of candidate’s parent signature
- Scanned copy of the candidate’s left thumb impression
- Valid ID proof
- Active Email ID
- Active Mobile No.
Note: All the documents must be in JPG or JPEG format only. All applicants are advised to check the guidelines related to photo and signature size prior to applying for the exam.
Application Form
The online form for Karnataka PGCET has been releaseed at kea.kar.nic.in. Registration window will be functional for approximately one month. There are two phases in the entire procedure:
- Phase 1: Fill all the basic details. Here, one can edit or delete the information provided.
- Phase 2: Review and confirm the information provided. After confirming, candidates cannot make any edits in the application form.
Step 1: KPGCET Registration
- Visit the official website of Karnataka PGCET
- Go to the ‘New User? Register here’ tab.
- Fill the required details such as Name, Gender, Contact Details, etc.
- You will then receive a User ID and Password on the email ID and mobile number provided by them.
Step 2: Filling KPGCET Application Form
- Now login into the account using the credentials provided at the time of registration.
- Fill in the personal details, academic details and contact details in the given form stated as ‘Student Information Page.’
- Click on Save and Next.
Step 3: Uploading Scanned Documents
- Candidates must keep scanned copies of their latest colored photograph, signature, parent signature and their left thumb impression.
- Upload the documents mentioned above in JPG/JPEG format.
- Select the “save and next” button.
- Click on next. A declaration page will appear on the screen; candidates must read the declaration and then submit the Karnataka PGCET 2022 Application Form.
Document Size & Specifications
KEA has defined specific size, format and dimensions for each of the documents. Failing to follow the same will result in cancellation of the application.
Candidate’s Photograph
- The photo should be in passport size.
- It should be a recent one, preferably in color.
- File Size: 5kb – 40 kb
- File Dimension: 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm
- Format: JPG/ JPEG only
Candidate’s Signature
- The signature should be done on a white paper.
- It should be done in blue or black ink.
- Signatures in capital letters will not be accepted.

- Format: JPG/ JPEG only
Left Thumb Impressions
- Thumbprint should not be blurred.
- It should be in blue or black ink.

Step 4: Accepting Declaration & Submitting the Form
- After furnishing and the details in the form, candidates must review the entire online form.
- Post that, a declaration box will pop-up.
- Read all the details and click ‘Agree’ if you are satisfied with the conditions.
- Make note, no edits or omissions can be done after submitting the form.
Step 5: KPGCET Application Fee Payment
- To complete the payment, candidates must select the bank challan and take a print out of the same.
- General category candidates must pay INR 650 while reserved category candidates shall pay INR 500 as application fee.
- The payment can be made through any branch of the specified bank. Candidates will be given two copies of the challan after the payment is completed, and the bank itself will retain one copy.
- Retain proof of the payment for any future references.
- After filling Karnataka PGCET 2022 Application Form, take a print out for future references.
