Placements depend on the branch you are opting for. In general NIT Silchar offers good placement opportunities to the students. As per the placement statistics and the number of recruiters visiting the campus, the trendy branches are as follows.
CSE>Mechanical>ECE>CE>EEE
Here are the NIT Silchar placement highlights of 2021.
Some of the major recruiters that took part in the placement drive are Goldman Sachs, Amdocs, Amazon India, etc.
One of my close friends graduated from the CSE department of NIT Agartala. I have friends from NIT Silchar and NIT Mizoram as well. Based on what I heard from them, I will say that NIT Silchar is a better option. The reasons why NIT Silchar is better than the other two institutes are as follows.
The difference between NIT Silchar and NIT Agartala is minimal. Both of these two are tier 2, old NITs and have similar pros and cons. NIT Silchar is marginally better than Agartala. However, the latter is catching up quite quickly.
NIT Agartala has the only supercomputer in the North East. ISRO has opened an incubation center in NIT Agartala, which is the first in India. Even, few companies choose to conduct joint placement drives for NIT Agartala and NIT Silchar.
So, there is not much difference between NIT Silchar and NIT Agartala. If you are getting your preferred branch at NIT Agartala, don’t choose NIT Silchar over it. As for NIT Mizoram, it is a fairly new institute and needs time to catch up with the other two institutes.
When it comes to choosing the right college for your CSE/IT degree, there are several factors that need to be taken into consideration. Some of the most important factors include location, placement, campus, fee structure, and branch. Based on these factors, one can make an informed decision about which college to choose.
In terms of the specific colleges mentioned, IIIT Jabalpur, NIT Patna, and NIT Silchar are all well-known institutes for CSE/IT courses. Here are some details about IIIT Jabalpur and why it could be a good option for you:

With its location, placement opportunities, campus facilities, competitive fee structure, and well-designed course structure, IIIT Jabalpur is a great choice for students who want to excel in the field of computer science and engineering.
NIT Silchar is one of the top engineering colleges in India. Recently in NIRF Ranking by MHRD, NIT Silchar holds 46th rank among best engineering Institutes in the country.
My brother is from NIT Silchar and this is the best thing that ever happened to him. But also every institute has its own advantages and disadvantages.

I hope my answer is helpful to you.
Beyond any doubt, IIEST Shibpur and NIT Silchar are good colleges but when it comes to the ranking IIEST Shibpur stands at 17th NIRF ranking while NIT Silchar at 53rd rank. It is better than NIT Silchar in terms of education, faculty, placements, and infrastructure.

Highest CTC | 35 LPA | 21 LPA |
Average CTC | 15 LPA | 10 LPA |

Lastly, we can say that among both the colleges, IIEST Shibpur is the best. So it will be better for your career if you choose to study at IIEST Shibpur rather than NIT Silchar.
IT from NIT Raipur is the best option among these. The institute offers good placement opportunities for IT and CSE. Each year around 100% of students get placed from the IT department. Reputed IT companies such as Samsung, MuSigma, Oracle Cloud, Cognizant, etc. visit the campus placements. According to the highlights of NIT Raipur placements, IT department has an average CTC of around INR 6.78 LPA.
You need to compare the two universities to make a decision between the two. Having friends studying in both the institutes, I might be able to help you with the question.

For obvious reasons, IIT Bombay is a better choice than NIT Silchar.
I would suggest you go for IIT Bombay over NIT Silchar any day.
Among the colleges present in the lot, I would advise you to choose NIT Silchar over NIT Agartala. I have a few friends at the institute and I have heard good things about the institute.
Here are a few of the reasons why NIT Silchar is a better alternative.
The above reasons should be enough to choose NIT Silchar.
Without second thoughts, IIEST is better than all the colleges you mentioned. The institutes that are better than IIEST are the top 7 IITs, BITS Pilani, IISc.
The leading factor of IIEST that sets it apart from other colleges is its extensive research strategies. Some have been highlighted below:
Developed India's First Smart Grid
Developed Solar Rickshaw for Howrah Municipal Corporation
CEGESS centre at IIEST is among the Best in India in areas of clean energy and sensors systems.
IIEST has collaborations with University of Queensland, University of Hiroshima, University of South Wales, Hokkaido University, Zurich University among others
Other amazing facts include:
Research Projects: Rs. 47 Crores
Consultancy Projects: Rs. 13 Crore
Publications : 2000
Citations : 5000
All this has been achieved by only 220 faculties in less than 3 years.
If IIEST is worthy of comparison to any of the colleges you have mentioned then it is NIT Jalandhar. The academic excellence is very similar. But other colleges don’t even stand in the race to compare.
