Academics: IIIT Naya Raipur has a better-advanced curriculum. It is designed to prepare students for competitive examinations like GATE, CAT, etc. Placements and Alumni: As IIIT Vadodara is a little older than IIIT Naya Raipur, they have a little bit of reach when it comes to placements and alumni. IIIT NR has most of the faculties with immense experience in their field. They are so helpful and always guide you at each level of your course. Being a student of IIEST Shibpur myself, I can confidently say that the college is much superior when it comes to engineering. IIEST offers decent placements due to its strong alumni network and reputation among people. According to recent placement statistics, many top recruiters visited during the placement drive including Microsoft, Vedanta, Wipro, Cognizant, Godrej, HSBC Technologies, and many others giving the highest package of INR 39 LPA. Lastly, we can say that though IIIT Raipur may be known for its brand it does not stand on the same ranking as the old engineering departments of IIEST.
