What are the placement statistics of NIT, Raipur like average package and percentage of students placed?
Posted On - Mar 30, 2021NIT Raipur Placements 2022 were wrapped with 738 offers. The average package stood at INR 10.1 LPA. The maximum offers were bagged by the IT and Mechanical students. B.Tech students received a total of 649 offers while MCA students received around 65 offers.

Around 101 recruiters participated in the placement drive. Some of the top recruiters included Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys, Adobe, Aditya Birla Group, etc.
According to NIT Raipur placements 2021, the average CTC offered to students was INR 9.7 LPA. Around 75% of students get placed each year through the campus drive. Here are the average salary statistics for the last few years.

During the last placement drive of NIT Raipur, a total of 92 recruiters took part in the placement and offered 599 jobs.
According to the placement statistics of NIT Raipur, the packages vary drastically from branch to branch.
- If you belong to CS/IT, there are so many decent companies coming every now and then. And, the average package of 9.5 LPA is getting better every year. Till the end, they always achieve more than 90% placement.
- If you belong to core branches like Electrical and Mechanical, the average package can range from 4-5 LPA. Last year it was the best to date with 82% placement. While Mining and civil are having decent placements too.
- For branches like Metallurgy, the placement is season-dependent. Last year it broke every record but this year it is a little down. However, you can see 50-60% placements every year on average.

Companies like Infoedge, Barclays, Adobe, Capgemini, Oracle, Cognizant, Samsung, Wipro, FIAT, Amazon, Reliance, Siemens, JP Morgan Chase came for recruitment. A total of 587 offers were made this year to 755 eligible students. At last, the packages are getting better with each year so you need not worry.
