Placements are good for Mechanical. The average package received by the students is around INR 7-8 LPA. Companies such as Deloitte, L&T, Hero MotoCorp, etc. take part in the NIT Raipur placements. Many students also get recruited by non-core companies. The department has many clubs such as SAE group and Robotics club.
