All is better than Bhopal and Jaipur in placements though. However, in terms of infrastructure, campus life, hostel life, sports facilities, the overall holistic development of an individual NIT Rourkela is a good option. From the first semester itself, IIIT Allahabad begins imparting programming knowledge. Subjects such as chemistry and engineering drawing are taught later on as these are considered as less useful subjects. Coding Culture: The coding culture is exceptional at IIIT Allahabad. Most of the top-ranked students in competitive programming at present are from IIIT while the number of students from MNIT is few. Campus: There is a lot of similarity between the campus and hostels of both the institutions. IIIT Allahabad is younger than MNIT, therefore, has an advanced campus compared to MNIT. Placements: The placement opportunities at IIIT Allahabad IT are tremendous and better than MNIT CS. Students at IIIT Allahabad land high package offers. Various top companies recruit almost the same number of students from both of these institutes.
