Brief thing's about MNIT

Placement Experience:

The placements at MNIT are pretty good. Almost everyone can get a decent and extraordinary LPA as per their skills. My plan after getting my degree is to run a startup based on AI. The highest LPA is of 64Lac previous year for UG students.

The admission process in MNIT is through JEE mains and the cut-off of different branches vary per year, One can check the cut-off of MNIT on the JOSSA site. As MNIT is situated in Rajasthan, people with reservations get a few benefits.

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for internships for any year, but for placements, you can apply in the third year. Companies such as JP Morgan, Amazon, and Deloitte approach there and Deloitte does mass recruitments per year. Almost all students get placements, the placement percentage varies from 60 per cent to 100 per cent from Civil Engineering Branch to the CS branch. I will pursue my Mtech after my degree.

Remarks:

You can apply for college when you have passed the 12th class. You can apply for Admission to MNIT Jaipur through Jee Mains exam. You need a fairly good rank in Jee Mains, after that the counselling of college is done by JOSSA.

I get admission to mnit through the joint entrances examination (jee mains), you have to score 75% in 12 board in the general category and 65% in sc, st category and you will get the application form, application fees and application dates in NTA'S official site which is www. Nta. Com If you score between 91 to 95 percentile in jee mains in the sc category you will easily get a civil branch in mnit but competition is a bit tough for general category students they have to score more than 97.5 percentile for the same branch In my point of view, you will not get any difficulty in the admission process all types of arrangements are already done by the college

Mostly all students got placement from all branches but it also varies from one branch to another branch in CS branch generally all students got placement every year with a good package. After getting my degree I want to start my own business.

I got admission in mnit Jaipur through a joint entrance examination (jee- mains). I scored 98 percentile in jee main and 75.8% in board exams. For all the details regarding the application form, fees, and dates I visited the official website of jee main named www.jee main.in For reservation benefits:-if you scored above 90 percentile in ST/SC category in jee main you can easily get very good branches like computer science, electrical, Ece in mnit, and for OBC and general category you have to score 98 above the. You can do an Easier admission process because it is too lengthy.

The campus placement started in the 7th semester for the students. There are many companies visited for our civil engineering L&T group of construction visited and every year 8-10 offers from L&T are provided. 90% placement from MNIT.

Remarks:

Firstly you have to qualify to jee main to take admission in this college 75% in the 12th board exam. You can find the application form on the official website of NTA (The body that conducts jee main) and after getting results we apply for Jossa counseling. One improvement in the admission process is that admission should be in online mode only and avoid physical reporting. No reservation benefits.

Reality of MNIT

Placement Experience:

From the 7th Semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visit our course are L&T, Deloitte, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Expedia, etc. My plan is to sit for placements and secure a good-paying job.

Remarks:

First of all, it's an NIT ( a college of national importance), so you need to qualify for the minimum eligibility criteria which at our time was 75% in 12th boards and qualifying JEE Mains. To apply for the college you just need to give JEE Mains and apply for Josaa Counselling and fill in your choices of college in priority along with the branch. I had got benefitted from the EWS reservation which is 10% + women's reservation (so if you are a girl it's relatively easier to get admitted).

It's nearly impossible to get any branch in any of the colleges mentioned above. The colleges mentioned above are all NITs in particular NIT Goa, NIT Jaipur, and NIT Delhi. None of the NITs open admission for the rank of around 180k so it would be better if you should prepare well and appear for the exam in the next year or take admission in any private college. There's no chance that any NIT would offer admission for 180k rank.

Honestly, it totally depends on your choice. If you want as per placement rankings then NIT Calicut surely beats NIT Rourkela which in turn is better than NIT Jaipur and NIT Bhopal. As some of my friends studied at NIT Rourkela, I can assure you that the overall campus is improving very fast. Also they offer good placements. Many famous companies are hiring a lot of students now. If you are seeking a good infrastructure, NIT Rourkela is the best of all NITs. For overall rankings, you can refer to MHRD, National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF). Certain departments at NITR leave a lot to be desired, where Calicut has the edge. All is better than Bhopal and Jaipur in placements though. However, in terms of infrastructure, campus life, hostel life, sports facilities, the overall holistic development of an individual NIT Rourkela is a good option. IIIT Allahabad's IT is one of the best in this league. This branch is at par with CS. Academics: Academics are given more importance here. From the first semester itself, IIIT Allahabad begins imparting programming knowledge. Subjects such as chemistry and engineering drawing are taught later on as these are considered as less useful subjects. Coding Culture: The coding culture is exceptional at IIIT Allahabad. Most of the top-ranked students in competitive programming at present are from IIIT while the number of students from MNIT is few. Campus: There is a lot of similarity between the campus and hostels of both the institutions. IIIT Allahabad is younger than MNIT, therefore, has an advanced campus compared to MNIT. Placements: The placement opportunities at IIIT Allahabad IT are tremendous and better than MNIT CS. Students at IIIT Allahabad land high package offers. According to the recent placement statistics the highest and average CTC offered to IIIT A is 43 LPA and 20 LPA. Whereas the highest and average for MNIT is 38 LPA and 8 LPA. Overall, opting for IIIT Allahabad would be a great decision.

There are not many differences between the institutes. You can prefer MNIT, Jaipur only if the location is advantageous on your side. The difference, however, is not exactly a lot. Placements: The average placement in Jaipur has been better for several years now. However, if you have the will to work, with relevant education, then the opportunities and offers provided by either of these institutes are the same. Various top companies recruit almost the same number of students from both of these institutes. For instance, in 2019, 11 students were recruited by Microsoft from NIT Durgapur with a package of 39 LPA each. 4 other students were recruited by Amazon with 20 LPA and above. There are several others too. Here is the placement reports of the year 2020 for both the institutes, Parameters MNIT, Jaipur NIT, Durgapur No. of Students Placed 497 456 Highest CTC INR. 38 LPA INR. 33 LPA Average CTC INR. 8.9 LPA INR. 9.09 LPA Top Recruiters Amazon, DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, Capgemini, Deloitte Samsung, Cognizant, Brahmos, JCB, Alstom, ZS Associates Thus, there are somewhat the same opportunities in both.
