My college is one of the best colleges in India and to get here I qualified for one of the world's toughest exams so I chose here lower branch to get more opportunities in any field I wanted because that's the beauty of a good college because it provides leverage to choose any field of interest and also my branch is one of the oldest branches and have a good opportunity in the private sector as well as government sector. Here is my department, there are more than 20 proofs to assist you in your research and to teach you. My branch consists of 55 students and the department consists of 100 students in my batch. Here the faculty is very much qualified and have their Phd in top universities of the world like MIT, Harvard etc. The term exam is very much from time to time and it is quite hard to pass the exam but if you study every day than it would not be that much difficult
Read Full ReviewI chose electronics and electrical communication as I was interested in the field. Also, this is a quite famous and reputed field in terms of packages and areas of interest. Student to faculty ratio is 8:1 and they are actually highly qualified. Exams are hard and take place two times in a semester mainly endsem and midsem exams.
Read Full ReviewI like it. The faculty: student ratio is 1:21. Ph.D. Researchers, their teaching methods are better than expected. Some of the professors teach by projecting a presentation while others teach on board. There'll be a 2 class test, a mid and an end sem.
Read Full ReviewI chose Aerospace Engineering out of my interest. Faculty-student ratio in IIT KGP is 1:21. The faculty of IIT KGP is PhD-qualified researchers and they teach us on the blackboard or through PowerPoint presentations. We have one class test, one midterm, and the final term examination.
Read Full ReviewI chose this course purely because of the rank and I was getting IIT KGP which is a dream college for many. The faculty includes great profs like Joy Sen Sir, Arjun Sir, Arup Sir, and Shreyas Sir. They are world-class teachers and the learning environment is so great at IIT KGP. Two-term exams namely mid-sem and end sem along with a few class tests happen and they aren't so difficult to pass believe me. I mean you guys have cleared the world's toughest examination to reach there, the term exam is comparatively a piece of cake
Read Full ReviewIt is one of the best courses at IIT Kharagpur. Lots of scopes in Internships and placements for this course. The curriculum is very good and well-structured. The faculty-student ratio is 1:5.One of the best professors teaches Industrial and Systems Engineering.
Read Full ReviewWell, I am very interested in aeronautics that's why I choose this course. My target was to learn orbit mechanics, space mechanics, etc. That's why I preferred to study aerospace engineering at IIT Kharagpur. There are around 400 students of all years (1st year, 2nd year.... 5 th year) and around 100 faculty members for aerospace engineering. Some faculties are studied from this college and have very good knowledge about core things and some of has studied from foreign universities and many good colleges from India. They have very good talent as a professor to explain something to students in such a way that a student will never forget this thing. Two examinations happen every semester mid-term and end-term. Both exams are so easy if you just listen to the class very carefully and have done some problems by yourself then you will pass the exams with a very good score and you will get a very good cgpa at the end of the semester.
Read Full ReviewI am Interested in Mechanical Engineering because I liked the mechanics part of Physics mostly so I took this course. The faculty and Student ratio is 1: 20. All Faculty Members are well Qualified and their teaching skills are very tricky and approachable to students. Easily a student can be familiar with this. There are two parts of exams one is Midterm and another is End term. And also there are class tests that are in between classes and also attendance is mandatory. Exams are quite easy and some courses are difficult but if you like that course you can go for that.
Read Full ReviewThey are very kind and polite we feel free to talk to them and feel very comfortable while speaking to them obviously they are the ones only here to guide what's wrong and write also there are tutorials before class for ensuring all the types of problems also they have a very good enough research area to work upon and gives the best understanding and brief about the concepts you lag behind the faculty and the academic curriculum has very good flexibility out of opting for the subjects you need.
Read Full ReviewI choose the B.Tech course from this college in Biotechnology engineering because it has a very high opportunity for these college students to get a good job. The college curriculum is up to date and follows all types of corporate developments, and the curriculum helps us to keep abreast of the latest industrial modifications, in short, it retains us up to date. The college faculty consists of Ph.D. holders with extensive industrial experience. The faculty is the one who assists us at every stage of the placement. The faculty's teaching methods are an excellent and appropriate combination of traditional and modern techniques. The exams are taken in the form of a semester-wise pattern where students have to give exams every sem and it's not that difficult if you study normally.
