IIT Goa campus is located in Farmagudi, Goa, the state capital, and is only temporary. The Goa Engineering College (GEC) Campus serves as the temporary campus and operational center for IIT Goa. The MHRD has granted the Goa Government permission to establish a permanent campus on land measuring approximately 320 acres in the Guleli village panchayat in North Goa's Sattari sub-district.
IIT Goa also has a College Band, a Photography Club, a Design Club, an Oratory Club, a Literature Club, a Dramatic Club, a Fine Arts Club, a Music Club, and a Dance Club. It has also established clubs for technological pursuits, such as the Economics Club, Robotics Club, and Programming Club.
