Nevertheless, IIT Dhanbad is a better option and there are numerous reasons to claim so.
- It’s the best location for CSE students as it’s well-connected to many IT hubs in the country.
- It has better placement and internship opportunities as it’s close to metropolitan cities like Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, etc
- The campus is bigger and more equipped with modern facilities.
- The campus ambiance as well as the overall climate of the city makes the learning experience great.
Ultimately, it’s best to choose one after weighing all your options!
IIT Goa will be a better option for joining CSE. It was under the mentorship of IIT Goa and a good coding culture is slowly developing on campus. The placement has been great for CSE over the last few years. Reputed MNCs like Microsoft, Google, Intel, Bosch, Paytm, etc. visited IIT Goa placements. During the last placement drive, students of CSE received the median CTC of INR 21 LPA.
Both the Institutes, IIT Goa and IIT Dharwad are mentored by IIT Bombay. Since one of my friends studied at IIT Goa, I will suggest you go for it.
