IIT Goa is a highly-reputed engineering institute in India, offering IF, PG, and Ph.D. programs in various fields of engineering and technology. 

• The institute is known for its strong academic curriculum and dedicated faculty pool. 
• The campus is well-equipped with modern facilities, including a library, hostel, Sports Complex, Cafeteria, Hospital / Medical Facilities, Auditorium, etc. All these modern facilities make the students stay comfortable and memorable. 
• The students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities, clubs, and societies. 
• IIT Goa placement cell helps the students prepare for the interviews by brushing up their communication skills, physical grooming, presentation qualities, corporate dressing, etc.

Overall, IIT Goa is considered to be a good choice for students who are interested in pursuing a career in engineering or technology.

In terms of academics, extracurriculars, faculties, and college environment, IIT Goa is good. It also has a good placement record. According to 2022 statistics, IIT Goa placements concluded with an average CTC of INR 20.6 LPA. The highest CTC offered was INR 1.12 Crore per annum. Microsoft, Google, Intel, OYO, Paytm, etc. were some of the major recruiters that took part in the placement drive.  

Overall, it is a good institute. But it still needs some work building a decent infrastructure. 

One of my friends chose IIT Goa CSE over IIT Roorkee Metallurgy and he was quite satisfied with his decision. It is surely one of the important and hard choices in your life.

In terms of selecting an institute, students must always decide on a branch first and then choose the best institute pertaining to that branch instead of looking for the best college and then thinking about which branch to choose. 

IIT Goa is a great institute that offers plenty of opportunities to students regarding academics as well as extra-curricular activities, making it the best combination to attain a great student experience.

Student Life:

• IIT Goa conducts many extra-curricular activities, cultural fests and competitions to provide students with a stimulating environment and keep them motivated. 
• Some of these include Smart India Hackathon, Editorial club, dramatics club, Photography club, sports club and many others.

Administration:

• Being a fairly new institution, the administration at IIT Goa is weak and can definitely be improved upon amongst its other excellent facilities. 
• While the system is improving with time, it is currently not up to the mark as it can be.

Faculty & Students Interaction

• The institute has an extremely welcoming environment where professors are incredibly helpful and guide students through any queries that they may have. 
• The juniors and seniors share a comfortable and helpful relationship and IIT Goa is also counted amongst a ragging-free college.

While the infrastructure can be better compared to other IIT campuses, IIT Goa is definitely an institute students must consider for admissions considering its excellent facilities, high -quality programs and interesting student life.
