The faculty here is very concentrated to deliver all the knowledge to the students, the curriculum is hard which can lead to the development of the brain of an individual. Some faculty is very good and friendly and some are very serious.
Read Full ReviewInterest and high demand in the market are two of the major factors for choosing this course. The student-faculty ratio is quite good. In labs and tutorial classes, there is one teacher for about 25-27 students. In the lab, there are other teachers also present. The faculty is highly qualified and has great teaching experience and skills. The exams are held twice a semester and there are many sessions and evaluations timely which help one to prepare for exams by a uniform distribution of syllabus.
Read Full Reviewthe course curriculum is very much up to-date and relevant to the workspace in real life. there are two main exams mid semester and end-semester that take place. the teachers and professors are highly qualified and remarkably experienced in their own spheres.
Read Full ReviewThe course curriculum according to me is quite up to the industry standards. I chose the course because of my personal interest, and I don't regret my decision curriculum-wise. The faculty-student ratio in a lecture class is about 1:100, and 1:30 in a subgroup. All the faculties are highly qualified. Exams are also moderately difficult, absolutely not a cakewalk.
Read Full ReviewComputer Engineering(COE), B.E., is the oldest course in Thapar, and also Thapar is a very old college. So, it has many alumni from all over India. This course has a decent average placement record, which also attracts me to choose this course. The faculty members for my course in Thapar are decent. Some of them are great, but at the same time, some of them are boring lecturers. The faculty-student ratio is quite good. For the lecture on a common subject, we have 1 lecturer per 200 students. And for lab works and tutorials class, we have 1 teacher for every 40 students. The qualification of the faculty members are impressive, they graduated from auspicious colleges in India. The teaching method of them is good enough, except for some of them(Some of them have old and boring teaching methods). We have one Mid Sem and one End sem exam in a semester, and also some projects. Those exams are of decent levels and are easy to pass with a mere amount of effort on the study.
Read Full ReviewFaculty and student ratio is 1:100. Faculty is highly experienced and skilled with high qualifications and degrees from prestigious universities and colleges. Teaching method differs from faculty to faculty.
Read Full ReviewI chose the course to pursue my bachelor's in computer science. Teacher to student ratio is 1 to 70. Most of the teachers are qualified but some are here through recommendations from famous politicians. Term exams happen after a gap of 1 month and correction is very strict. Students are failed on purpose to make money from the summer semester and auxiliary exams.
Read Full ReviewI chose ENC because It gives me a peek into both the Electronics core and CS domains. The student-teacher ratio is such that in the first year as subjects are common there are 250 students with one teacher but in second-year in classes we have 120 students on 1 teacher further class is divided in to sections with each 25 having a personal tutorial and lab teacher. The faculty are the best and have all done their PHDs from Thapar, IITs or Foreign universities. The exams are divided such that you have sufficient time to prepare for each. Here almost no students are failed
Read Full ReviewIt is in trend there are several exams you have in Thapar sessional MST and EST, then you have lab evaluations also ..and there are total 6 subjects and in a semester there are 2 sessional, so you will have no time when you are in Thapar.
Read Full Review1. Interested in Computer Software. 2. It is 1:30 which is a quite good ratio as the teacher is able to pay attention to all the students. 3. All the professors are Ph.D. and they try to improve their teaching methods by taking reviews from students. They already have nice teaching methods. 4. They happen to be 2 exams per semester and it's quite easy to pass but difficult to score well.
