fill out application form form main website, then wait for approval, if approved you have to pay fee and all good. but the way they handle information is not good at all. their is so much confusion during admission process , they should make a separate portal for students who want to take admission in particular course...
it looks relevent to some extent, but to much theory is there. more practical aspect can be added. though their are some labs but the spirit to complete project while fully understanding is missing. like only doing project for marks not for sake of learning.
still a 2nd year and not had yet applied for college internships, but their are many opportunities but the competition is very high, if you do well in internship you can get a pre placement offer which is supper cool.
good placements, but cg cut is very high. i had done a podcast with senior as well and got to know a lot about the placements about thapar. you can checkout that on my youtube channel : BHAVISHYA SINGLA.
this semester the fees is around 2 lakh 60 thousand for me, and will increase per semester by some amount. The hostel and mess fees are not included. scholar ship is merit-based, and my friends got scholarships of around 100,000. this year freshers are paying a fee of around 300000 per semester but it will remain the same throughout college years like us where it increases per semester.
The best thing about my college is the clubs, so much exposure and you can learn a lot from it. many clubs from tech to cultural to ngo. everyday their is something going on and I myself is part of to clubs as well.
groups is of around 30 people, and when we go to lab we go in groups..but when it's time for lectures 5 grps study together in a class of around 150 students. faculty ratio could be make good and increase the ratio of student to teacher.
In 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. There are few companies like HCL, infoyses, etc. visited in campus during internships and placements. The placement percentage of collage is arround 70% and the average and highest package offered is 8lpa and 50lpa respectively. I plan to continue my study in Mtech and GATE preperation.
The placements here are average to good which totally matters to the students like ive seen people getting no placements at all to people getting placements of 18 LPA in second year only it totally matters on the student

One thing good about chitkara university is its placements, one thing it is famous for. But do we get placements after this? The answer is maybe. If your cgpa is up to the notch and you have knowledge you can definitely get a placement. But if you are an average student it's very hard to get a good placement. The average packages are also not much. They provide you with internships but again, the money isn't that good until and unless you are an excellent student of this subject.
All I have heard is that the students become eligible for campus placements is after 7th semester of their course. Sum of the companies that visit the college are Amazon, Google, Jio, Reliance, Infosys, Rapido etc. The highest package recently was 50 lpa and the average package is around 8 to 10 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements is around 80 to 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to find a good pain job of around 8 to 10 lakh per year.
As there are batches like S60 and uniques in it. These batches help students to prepare for industry levels. These also have separate fully furnished rooms with the best workstations for each student so that students can learn easily. The syllabus is up to date.
