Remarks :
To take admission to SVIET in BTech computer science, you must have a percentage above 45 with maths physics, and chemistry. They also take admission on the basis of the JEE mains entrance test . The admission are open now.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As there are batches like S60 and uniques in it. These batches help students to prepare for industry levels. These also have separate fully furnished rooms with the best workstations for each student so that students can learn easily. The syllabus is up to date.
Internships Opportunities :
Our college also provides internship opportunities to the students. The students got internships at the last of 3rd year or the beginning of 4th year. The well-known company Godigitify also included who trained students at the industry level.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As the fees of different courses are different. The fee for BTech cse is 52000 per semester. The Kashmiri migrants got a scholarship named JKSSS. There are also scholarships for students on their caste basis like sc, st, obc.
Campus Life :
The infrastructure of sviet is quite good. The campus life is also good as there is a big library and classrooms are big and clean. Technical festivals like tech fest and spontania also taken where you can participate in different cultural activities.
Faculty :
There are minimum 55-60 students in one section. There are separate faculty for each subjects . More than 2 teachers are present for each subject. The teachers are very polite and mentorship is also good .

Placement Experience :
The on campus placements are decent . Campus has its own placement cell and helps students to get placed in reputed companies. Although the placement for tech branches is better than the core branches . The average package of civil was around 7-7.5 LPA this year but the package of tech branches is generally high and they are from companies like microsoft , amazon etc.

capmus placements starts from 4th of year degree, and internships from 2nd year. 1500+ compaies are tied up chitkara university like samsung airbus BPL. high package has gone upto 1.11Cr and avg package is around 8.5 lakh almost 100% placements are offered at the college as assured i'll join Indian Armed Forces thru CDS, if not the go for the MNCs like Samsung by chosing VLSI to design and develop semi conductors chips.

Yes my college provide placements but not no higher packege like in other colleges. Average is upto 3 or 5 lakh per anum. Companies like wipro, tcs, kent, infosys etc has visited there. Those students which have 8.5 Sgp and above only can sit in placements. I honestly work two or three years in india for experience then i go for foregien coutries for wok and settle there.

An overall review of SVIET...
Placement Experience :
All I have heard is that the students become eligible for campus placements is after 7th semester of their course. Sum of the companies that visit the college are Amazon, Google, Jio, Reliance, Infosys, Rapido etc. The highest package recently was 50 lpa and the average package is around 8 to 10 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements is around 80 to 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to find a good pain job of around 8 to 10 lakh per year.

Placement Experience :
Placements are offered in the 8th semester, i.e 4th year. The placement record if IIT Ropar is really good with always-increasing graph each year. The placements of core branches like Civil are not as good as CSE but they are satisfactory.
