- very good academic plan and systematic plans for study
- very good infrastructure and sports facilities , good canteens inside campus , lush green campus , good mess food etc
- good placement and internship oppertunities
Dislikes
- very strict attendance policy as all attendance is uploaded on erp online portal
- not very good hostel facility for the 1st year students but then after you pass first year very good hostels with good rooms are provided
- as this collage is far from city so city life is still missing from your collage life
Remarks :
To take admission in nit Jalandhar the process is done on the behalf of jee main rank , and 75 percent in class 12th is must . If you got h rank as per the last year admission trends , you have to apply in jossa and csab councelling . Then if you are selected then you will be called in the collage for physical reporting. Then the whole admission will be completed at the time of physical reporting. Tution fee or sc , st is nill they have to give only the hostel and mess fee , after all this you will start your journey in the lush green campus of NIT Jalandhar
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because of i have interest in civil engineering and due to strong brand value of nit Jalandhar i choose it . There is a good student faculty ratio , all the professors are phd in their subjects and have good experience and teaching techniques, there are mid term and end term exam and regular quizs also and if you follow the curriculum they are easy to pass
Internships Opportunities :
companies like texas intruments , relaince etc came for intern recruitment , stipend approx to 60k was gievn my texas , firstly mentorship is gien then intership tasks are given to the candidates. outcomes of the internship provided are as a good atmopsphere and compition between students and further assistance for placement
Placement Experience :
after third year means 6th sem , students are eligible to sit in the placements , the overall placement rate stood at 86.3% for btech the highest placement offered was 52 LPA .companies like glodman sachs , bpcl , cvent , honda , havells , amazon etc came as recruiters . average package for btech was 9.48 lpa . my plan after getting degree is to get a placement in my core field
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No fee hike policy, very reliable fee structure and good environment, good placement opportunities and internships opportunities. Tution fee of sc and sc candidates is nill and also for the candidates having family income less than one lakh, some scholarships are also been provided by the intitute to the students having cgpa greater than 7.5 , some more scholarships are also been provided to the maritorius students
Campus Life :
There is cultural fest named as Utkansh and tech fest named as TechNiti . Collage have good library where all books are available according to the course . Good sports facilities, all most all sports are there like cricket, volleyball, table tennis etc there are my clubs and societies
Hostel Facilities :
A decent hostel facility is provided to the students as all basic aminities like bed , chair , almirah , table , etc are provided , first year is tough as compared to when you are senior as the hostel provided after first year are good as compared to first year . registration of hostel is done at the time of physical reporting . if you need a pg room then bidhipur is the locality to get a pg room.
Faculty :
faculty members are well qualified and almost all faculty members are phd from respected institutes like IITs , teaching methods of the teachers are nice , some of them have very vast knowledge about there subjects , there are four stages of exam , first quiz then mid term after that second quiz and then end term exams . quiz contain 5 marks each , mid term is of 30 marks and end term is of 50 marks . passing marks is 40 and min 15 marks should be in the end term .

Placement Experience :
The on campus placements are decent . Campus has its own placement cell and helps students to get placed in reputed companies. Although the placement for tech branches is better than the core branches . The average package of civil was around 7-7.5 LPA this year but the package of tech branches is generally high and they are from companies like microsoft , amazon etc.

Placement Experience :
Placement of this year was quite good having 22.3 Lakhs per annum and for CSE it was probably 30lpa and internship opportunities are also very good as selected candidates will have 100% chance of getting internship in the 7th semester either for 2 month or 6 month.
