- Infrastructure and other facilities like hostels, sports, safety, etc are improving day by day.
- Good Placements and proficient guidance from faculty helps students to get placed.
Dislikes
- Facilities like hostels to day secular, transportation, etc are to be provide for increasing students interest
- Canteens, swimming pools, marked grounds for different sports are not available.
- Course curriculum is quite hard and traditional to meet present problems.
Remarks :
NIT Jalandhar admission is based on JEE Mains ranks through JOSAA and CSAB. After getting a seat from counseling, you can get all the important information at nitj.ac.in the website. Reservations are available to all categories.

Second year student are eligible for placements and internships. Companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart, etc. provide thousands of placement offers. Amazon provide highest package of 1.2 Cr. to Electronics and Communication Branch student. Average package is 10 Lakhs per year.

B. Tech at NIT Jalandhar costs differ from student to student according to their category and financial background. Placement Experience :
The on campus placements are decent . Campus has its own placement cell and helps students to get placed in reputed companies. Although the placement for tech branches is better than the core branches . The average package of civil was around 7-7.5 LPA this year but the package of tech branches is generally high and they are from companies like microsoft , amazon etc.

after third year means 6th sem , students are eligible to sit in the placements , the overall placement rate stood at 86.3% for btech the highest placement offered was 52 LPA .companies like glodman sachs , bpcl , cvent , honda , havells , amazon etc came as recruiters . average package for btech was 9.48 lpa . my plan after getting degree is to get a placement in my core field

Placement Experience :
All I have heard is that the students become eligible for campus placements is after 7th semester of their course. Sum of the companies that visit the college are Amazon, Google, Jio, Reliance, Infosys, Rapido etc. The highest package recently was 50 lpa and the average package is around 8 to 10 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements is around 80 to 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to find a good pain job of around 8 to 10 lakh per year.

As there are batches like S60 and uniques in it. These batches help students to prepare for industry levels. These also have separate fully furnished rooms with the best workstations for each student so that students can learn easily. The syllabus is up to date.
