i chose Chitkara University Institute of Engneering and Tchnology as it offers best BE.ECE in whole tricity(Chandigarh), i got to know many students over here have joined defense forces after completing their degrees as i too want to join indian armed forces.
BE.ECE(Electronics and communication Engneering) i feel is way better than BE.CSE(computer science engneering) as it cover both hardware and software aspects, so offers best in terms of placements and job security
Samsung, Airbus, BPL, micrmax etc companies which is 1500+, comes for placemnents, interships and all, i don't have cuz i have just finished my 1st year of college but soon will know the the difference.
capmus placements starts from 4th of year degree, and internships from 2nd year. 1500+ compaies are tied up chitkara university like samsung airbus BPL. high package has gone upto 1.11Cr and avg package is around 8.5 lakh almost 100% placements are offered at the college as assured i'll join Indian Armed Forces thru CDS, if not the go for the MNCs like Samsung by chosing VLSI to design and develop semi conductors chips.
My fees for BE.ECE is 2 lakh per year, 1 lakh per sem, admission charges were 20000, no hidden charges were there, there's no scholarship as such besides reservation quota gets some govt subsidy. course is planned for 4 years as it is a BE, So the total cost of the degree will be 800k rupees. all costs cover into it, no no fees hikes as such cost of BE.CSE is same but for specializations course, they have to pay 15000 extra per sem.
Campus is airy, offers various facilities like, Sportoruim, gymnasium, cricket ground, football ground, 2 vollyball court, 2 basket ball court, 1 skating rink, squash court, 4 badminton court, chess carrom, table soccer, arm wrestling etc. 3-4 libraries incl ine main central libraries for books.
faculty over there is 15+ years old working, best professors in BE.ECE so far. 2 ST (sessional Test) and one end term examinations, exam are on medium level, we have smart classrooms, shares us PPTs of the lecture, E-Books, update us thru Google Classroom.
The on campus placements are decent . Campus has its own placement cell and helps students to get placed in reputed companies. Although the placement for tech branches is better than the core branches . The average package of civil was around 7-7.5 LPA this year but the package of tech branches is generally high and they are from companies like microsoft , amazon etc.
While I don't have personal experiences, I can offer a general view on how placements and employability often work for college students: 1. **Campus Placements**: - **On-Campus Recruitment**: Many colleges have a dedicated placement cell that organizes recruitment drives where companies visit the campus to hire students for various roles. - **Industry Connections**: Colleges with strong ties to industries often have better placement rates. They might invite companies for job fairs, internships, and on-campus interviews. - **Placement Statistics**: Colleges typically publish placement statistics, including average salary offers, companies that recruit from the campus, and placement percentages. 2. **Employability Without Campus Placement**: - **Internships and Networking**: Gaining practical experience through internships and building a professional network can significantly enhance employability. - **Skill Development**: Acquiring relevant skills and certifications rel
