Remarks :

The admission in the college is simple. All we have to do is visit the official website of the college and the application fee is around 5K and the application dates are in the month of May to July. They also give reservation benefits like fee reduction and many other benefits are given to the reservation quota students. I would like to suggest for the improvement in the admission process that they should reduce the admission fee and the registration fee for the students so they can easily apply for the favourable course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum provides an overall good experience for learning and this influenced my decision of choosing bachelor's of technology course (CSE) in the college. The curriculum also prepares us well for real-world applications and for further academic pursuits by engaging us in useful activities. I would like to suggest that the teachers should give more time to students and try to understand their problems by listening to them. The frequency and timing of the exams are very frequent which is not good as students don't get enough time to even complete the remaining syllabus and the difficulty level is an absolute 9/10.

Internships Opportunities :

The internship opportunities available in the college are from some of the companies like Google, Microsoft, IBM etc. which offer around 20K per month for the given tasks and projects. Some of the projects include making websites, finding bugs etc.

Placement Experience :

All I have heard is that the students become eligible for campus placements is after 7th semester of their course. Sum of the companies that visit the college are Amazon, Google, Jio, Reliance, Infosys, Rapido etc. The highest package recently was 50 lpa and the average package is around 8 to 10 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements is around 80 to 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to find a good pain job of around 8 to 10 lakh per year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is around 45K per semester which makes it 90K per year and 3.60 lakhs for the whole course, which I think is good for this kind of course. There haven't been any increase in the tuition fee recently but they do increase it every year for the new students. The only thing bad is that the college keeps collecting extra fee for whatever reasons which can tend to be a problem for financially challenged students.

Campus Life :

The library contents all kinds of books related to the study and other subjects and we can access them easily. When I got admitted in the college the college facility gave us an event named as frosh week in which we were involved in various fun activities for whole week. Recently, after that an event named Spontania '24 was held for the students which included many fun activities and cultural events like cultural dance, singing, acts. They also invited an musical band to perform and it was so good.

Faculty :

The faculty-to-student ratio is nearly 20:1 and it is good for the learning experience as we get much attention and knowledge from the teacher. The members of the faculty are graduates and even double graduate teachers are here which provide a good learning experience. I often interact with the teachers 1-2 times or more in a single day which makes me easier to solve my doubts and problems.

"Unlocking Opportunities: At CEC

Placement Experience :

Placements at Chandigarh Engineering College (CEC) Landran are strong, with students becoming eligible in the 7th semester. Top recruiters like Infosys, Wipro, and TCS regularly visit, making over 1,000 offers annually. The highest package offered recently was around **INR 31 LPA**, while the average package is **INR 4.5-6 LPA**, with IT students often securing **INR 7-8 LPA**. The placement rate is impressive, with over **85% of students** placed, and more than **90%** in IT. After graduation, I plan to pursue a role in software development, leveraging the college's strong industry connections.

All about chitkara university

Placement Experience :

One thing good about chitkara university is its placements, one thing it is famous for. But do we get placements after this? The answer is maybe. If your cgpa is up to the notch and you have knowledge you can definitely get a placement. But if you are an average student it's very hard to get a good placement. The average packages are also not much. They provide you with internships but again, the money isn't that good until and unless you are an excellent student of this subject.
