The eligibility for a general candidate is that they have taken science in 11th and 12th and have passed. Admission is through JoSSA counseling, and one has to appear and secure 90+%ile to participate in it. The cutoff for general students was 98.5%ile>= for the 2022 batch. The admission process was seamless.

One has to clear and score decent percentile in JEE MAINS Examination, and one has to apply through the JOSAA Portal to take admission here. A score of 98.5%ile is enough to take admitted here. The application form is provided after the JOSAA Counselling sessions are over and the college administration asks to report on campus, for fees you can visit the website of the college. With different reservation quotas, you can expect a decrease in the ranks of the JEE MAINS. This college already has a decent way of admission process and I don't there is a need for any improvement.

Admission was given on the basis of Jee main entrance test or DASA for foreign students. Talking about jee mains, admission is held through Jossa counselling in which candidates fill out the college according to their options and admission is given on the basis of the highest rank of filled choices of the institute. Reservation of ST, SC, OBC and female candidates matters in the admission most. Application forms, fee structure, and dates will be available on the college website. The improvement we want in the admission process is to remove reservation criteria during admission.

Yes, you have to give JEE mains as an entrance test. You must have gotten AIR less than 12k or more than 98.8 percentile. The application form is of jee mains with an application fee of 1600. You can take admission in the course by securing good rank in JEE MAINS Exam. If you clear the cutoff of the JEE then you can take admission in the course by reporting in the college. College doesn't provide any form earlier. You asked to come to the institute then they give you the form for filling. The academic calendar is also told before reporting to the college. There are reservation scheme as provided in JOSAA Counselling for SC category. There are no improvements needed in admission process.

In the past, students who failed to get a decent CGPA had no option except to take MBA after the third year and they were not allowed to take M.Tech. This is the reason, the placement statistics for the program may look average. However, the situation has changed.

Coming to the dual degree, you must think twice before enrolling in a dual degree course. 2 cases may are:
First case: If you want to earn as soon as you are graduated, but a dual degree doesn't give you this freedom and you are forced to study for an extra 1 year before you start with a job. If you get a whooping package then it's fine otherwise it is just a waste of time.
Second Case: You want to go for further studies. In this case, it may seem that a dual degree is a blessing but if you think about it, then you may think that you are limiting your chance of doing a master's from any other and better college. For example, if someone graduated from a 4-year program and did his master's from IIT-B then it's a win-win situation for him.
Third Case: If you want to go for an MBA, then you are saving yourself from appearing in CAT and GMAT, but this is the same as above. You are losing your chance to get an MBA degree from IIMs.
I will advise you to have a deep discussion with your parents, go through some articles and then decide which one is good for you.
