Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because my course is an integrated M-tech course. In this course, I directly get an M-tech degree also from such kind of prestigious college Here faculty and students ratio is too much good And every faculty of this college are doctorate. This is the only college in India with all the faculty members who are PhD Qualified from India's top colleges such as IIT and NIT. There are two exams every semester one is minor and the other is major. Exams are not so demanding and not so easy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Btech Mtech in IT because I am interested in a career in the computer science sector. The course curriculum is quite relaxed and to the point. In IIIT Gwalior, we don't have common subjects in the first year. They directly start with advantageous core subjects. DSA starts in the second semester itself. Faculty all have PhDs and are qualified. They teach using lecture slides and solving questions on the board. The quality of faculty and teaching method is on par with other colleges. The student ratio depends on batch, it's somewhere between 60-120. Exams happen exactly as per the schedule and are fairly easy to pass. Studying one night before the exam is enough to pass, given that the student has attended some of the classes. There is a 75% attendance criteria that Some lectures strictly follow.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this college because of my interest in CS/IT field and I want to pursue this interest. faculty: student ratio is 1: 20 due to the fewer number of branches in our college there is less intake of students and that's why our faculty: student ratio is well maintained. In IIITM Gwalior all the faculty members are phd holders & have a grip on their concepts and teach us in the best way. generally, minor exams are conducted in the span of 2 months and after that major exams are conducted after 2 months then the next semester will be started. And If you give attention towards the classes and solved reference books then scoring a good cgpa will be a piece of cake for you.

I choose this course because I was more interested in Software Engineering rather than fieldwork engineering. I love coding and developing websites and apps. All faculty members are PHD qualified from good colleges. There is one minor and one major exam in the Institute.

I have chosen this course because of the package. In this college, this curriculum is so chill you can get good marks with less effort. Even we have enough time to enrich our tech skills to achieve a great package. The faculties are Ph.D. holders from IITs but they don't teach anything. Exams occur 2 times in one semester. Exams are very easy to pass, you can get good marks by studying less

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I liked doing computer programming and also wanted to know the internals of the computer and Information Technology is the best course for that. Faculty: The student ratio is very good as the number of total students is around 1150 due to fewer courses in the college, and more than 30 faculty members are there on campus. Most of the faculty is Ph.D. holders and they have good teaching method. As in the college, there is no pre-defined syllabus, so this faculty has a very good advantage and they don't rush toward completing the syllabus. Every professor has created slides regarding the topics they teach and provide the slides right after the class. There is minor exams two months after the start of the semester and a major exam at the end of the semester. Questions asked are simple and are asked from the topics that are taught in class.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is updated as compared to IITs and NITs we study Python and C language in the first sem only, and data structures in the second sem. All faculties are Ph.D. holders and awesome, dedicated, and cooperative but maintaining CGPA over here wouldn't be easy. We have mid sems and end sem in a semester that lasts for 6 months.

The only demerits of joining the duel degree program at IIITM Gwalior is the extra one year. With a little bit of effort, you can easily get the skills taught in this program through a 4-year long B.Tech. In that case, you will be wasting a year.  According to the recent highlights, IIITM Gwalior dual degree placements are quite good. The average CTC for the program is around INR 10-11 LPA.

Ques
What would be a better option between BIT Mesra BTech IT branch and IIITM Gwalior 5 year IPG IT course considering the fact that I have no problem with 4 years or 5 years?

● Top Answer By Ritwick Ghose on 22 Jul 21

Ans
The best choice will be to pursue a five-year IPG from IIITM Gwalior. The reasons are below. There are two programs in IPG. One is IMT (IPG M. Tech) with 119 intake seats, and another is IMG (IPG MBA) with 69 intake seats. Since 2017, the institute has had a strict batch for IT+MBA, unlike before. In the past, students who failed to get a decent CGPA had no option except to take MBA after the third year and they were not allowed to take M.Tech. This is the reason, the placement statistics for the program may look average. However, the situation has changed. IIITM Gwalior has an excellent alumni base. Even some of the recruiters coming for campus placement have a history with the college. Some students even have cracked Google Summer of Code (GSOC), and most get an internship in their first year. The placement details of the 2019-20 session for both institutes are below. Criteria IIITM Gwalior BIT Mesra Average Package INR 14.58 LPA INR 11.76 LPA Highest Package INR 42 LPA INR 49.76 LPA Tuition Fee INR 6.7 Lakhs INR 12.32 Lakhs The batch has people with diverse backgrounds and interests, making a mix of cultures. Overall, the return on investment (ROI) from IPG IIITM is excellent, and the course saves the traditional way of bachelor and master degree time.

Here are some of the advantages of pursuing a dual degree from IIITM Gwalior. You will complete your BTech in 3 years, and you can choose between an MTech or an MBA.  The dual degree program includes some extra courses which aren’t covered in 4-year B.Tech courses. These are some of the advantages of dual degree programs offered by IIITMG.

Ques
Which is better: IIITDM Jabalpur or IIITM Gwalior (in all aspects)?

● Top Answer By Ayantika Ghosh on 24 Mar 21

Ans
Firstly, there is no doubt that IIITMG has a better reputation, placement record, and facilities as it is nearly 8 years older than IIITDMJ. But this is only one side of the coin and most people don't see the other side of the coin. Let me show you these in broader aspects Talking about placements, IIITM G may have a better placement record but we also must not forget that we are comparing graduates with undergraduates. We are comparing a student with a dual degree to a student with a single degree and hence this comparison is not fair. Categories IIITDM Jabalpur IIITM Gwalior Course Fee 5.29 lakh 5.4-6.7 lakh Placement Percentage 82% 90% Highest CTC 25 LPA 30 LPA Average CTC 7.41 LPA 13-14 LPA Recruiting Companies IBM, Amazon, BHEL, Capgemini, Global Logic, etc. Microsoft, Amazon, PayTM, Goldman Sachs, Myntra and Adobe Coming to the dual degree, you must think twice before enrolling in a dual degree course. 2 cases may are: First case: If you want to earn as soon as you are graduated, but a dual degree doesn't give you this freedom and you are forced to study for an extra 1 year before you start with a job. If you get a whooping package then it's fine otherwise it is just a waste of time. Second Case: You want to go for further studies. In this case, it may seem that a dual degree is a blessing but if you think about it, then you may think that you are limiting your chance of doing a master's from any other and better college. For example, if someone graduated from a 4-year program and did his master's from IIT-B then it's a win-win situation for him. Third Case: If you want to go for an MBA, then you are saving yourself from appearing in CAT and GMAT, but this is the same as above. You are losing your chance to get an MBA degree from IIMs. I will advise you to have a deep discussion with your parents, go through some articles and then decide which one is good for you.
