The course curriculum is up to the mark. There are lots of opportunities for the computer science engineering branch at VIT. When it comes to placements you will be given prior compared to other branches so I choose it besides having an interest in it. The faculty is too good and well-qualified and always ensures that students are able to follow.
Read Full ReviewI like EE. The faculty-student ratio is 1:60. Ph.D. from IIT, NIT. It's very easy to pass. Not tough to score the top mark Just paying little attention is enough. So u can clear any subjects. Focusing on projects which u do in college helps to get placed.
Read Full ReviewI've Taken Electronica and communication Engineering keeping in mind the potential of its rise. Every faculty member is supposed to manage 70 students(at max, but on average each class has 50-55 students). Each professor holds a Ph.D., being a master's in his field. So you can expect in-depth knowledge from your professors. The exam pattern is as follows: 2internal written exams (CATs), followed by one lab exam (lab-FAT), ending the semester with a FAT exam. Along with quizzes and assignments going along Scoring a decent grade is easy as you are given multiple opportunities to maintain your score.
Read Full ReviewI always had an interest in CSE since the 10th grade when I was first properly introduced to coding I always had a keen interest in statistics so I chose the specialization of Data Science which is an emerging field. The faculty-student ratio is about 15:1. The faculties are very well qualified and have a lot of knowledge however, there are obviously a few exceptions and some are really bad teachers. We have term exams at the end of each semester and we have our continuous assessment tests almost every 45 days, however up until now, I have found them relatively easy as you can study only one night in advance and still get decent marks.
Read Full ReviewThe course curriculum is at par with all the top engineering colleges in India. It is at par with gre aur GMAT entrance exams. Talking about faculties, we have many variations of faculties. In VIT, you can choose your own faculties (ffcs). So, if you don't want to study, you can go for a lenient teacher who doesn't teach and only gives marks, or you can go with strict faculties who teach really very well.
Read Full ReviewI have a lot of interest in this course which is why I chose this course. the faculty to student ratio is very good you can get at least 3 faculty per student. The faculties here are highly qualified and they really know their stuff, while teaching they try to keep students engaged by relating the concepts to their practical application. There are 3 exams per semester (2- 50 marks each + 1(100 marks (final)), they can be sometimes hard or lengthy but if have got the concepts right you can easily score good marks.
Read Full ReviewThe M.Sc. The chemistry course offered by VIT was accredited by RSC. The student will get more exposure to the research field whereas in other colleges it would be very rare. Most of the faculty in the department has completed post-doctoral as well.
Read Full ReviewVIT has a very great curriculum which includes a lot of projects as well. A total of 160 credits has to be completed for our particular batch of students and this keeps changing frequently. Overall, VIT has a good curriculum.
Read Full ReviewMy degree is B.Tech in Information Technology. I have taken this course because it is in the field of computer science. So I am interested in this field rather than other fields. The faculty-student ratio in VIT is 1:20 may be. The qualifications of faculty are mostly Ph.D. only. There are 3 terms of examination in VIT each semester, CAT1, CAT2, and FAT.
Read Full ReviewIn VIT Vellore, every course is nice. But, most of the students go for Computer Science Engineering. Based on the counselling will get admission to VIT. Purely rank based only. No recommended candidates are allowed. The faculty is good. Every faculty is PHD completed scholar only. Exams are medium-level. If you study well then it is very easy to crack it.
