My rank was not so good that I was able to get a computer science course or similar and the subjects in this course seems to be very interesting to me. That's why I choose this course. 12 professors and associate professors are there in our course and also there are some other courses teachers who teach us. Almost faculty have Doctorates. As of now 2 minor exams and 1 end sem exam are there and the difficulty to pass the exam is based on your preparation as teachers set exams based on the content taught to students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to work in the construction department so luckily based on my rank. I got into the civil department in the college. The faculty of this college is fairly good. They are cooperative with the students. As we know about the faculty of the engineering colleges they are a little different so students don't rely on them they do self-study and get passed. The student ratio in my college is approximately 1:4. All the faculty members have done their PhD in their subject. Teaching methods are both modern and traditional. All the things in college are done timely, they release time table for the semester at the start of the semester which includes classes, holidays, exams, etc everything, so everything is on time.

Ques
What is your advice for a fresher at NIT Jalandhar?

● Top Answer By Ayushi Das on 02 Jan 23

Ans
There are a few things you should attend to: Although academics is not the only aspect of your life there, it is the most significant. Maintain a CGPA of at least 7.39 (or 70%). Try to make it to at least most of the lectures. The consequences of skipping practical exams are severe. One night of study the night before the test won't always be helpful. Although they may make you a hard worker, they cannot discipline you. Even though engineering is a difficult subject to master, it is not insurmountable. You can easily pass it if you consistently study. There are many things you should enjoy. The college's lifeblood is its LIBRARY. This place has a lot to offer. Read consistently. There are countless books you'll like that aren't academic. The practice of getting the book issued will instill in you the values of punctuality and empathy. TECH FEST & CULTURAL FEST are not just for entertainment; they are also for participation and creation. You ought to take an active part. Events take place throughout the day, and gaming occurs at night (Tech Fest). You should unquestionably join organizations and societies like LADS, SAE, MADS, Fine Arts, etc. This college places a strong emphasis on athletics. You have a sizable field, lovely basketball and volleyball courts, a running track, The Gymnasium, and The Gym for bodybuilding. Except for Mega Boys Hostel, every hostel has its own badminton court and TT hall. One of the key things that students look for is placements. Get ready for it right away. Develop your interactive abilities right away. Students often lament their lack of English proficiency despite coming from a Hindi-medium school. Your B. Tech. life's second and third years will lay the groundwork for the placements. You must therefore have clear concepts. After the first year is over, set a clear objective. You make the decision at this time as to whether you want to pursue private employment or government employment. Start your GATE, IES, or IAS preparation in the second semester because this is when the exam syllabus is covered.

Ques
What are some great things about NIT Jalandhar?

● Top Answer By Tanishq Jalan on 02 Jan 23

Ans
NIT Jalandhar is a training ground for future engineers. While the caliber of research may not be that high, the planning and administration of numerous events, such as the campus's cultural and technical festival and a number of student competitions that draw participants from all over northern India, are excellent. Hostel Life: NITJ's hostel life should be admired. There, one learns how to live life by helping others, managing personal expenditures, negotiating, and so on. Green Campus: The vast majority of students are very interested in exploring the campus each day. The campus is well-equipped and includes a green belt. The learning environment at NITJ gives students a supportive environment in which to grow both personally and technically, as well as ordinarily in every aspect.

Ques
How is NIT Jalandhar?

● Top Answer By Harish Bagesh on 02 Jan 23

Ans
Below are the different parameters: Campus: Compared to many other NITs in India, the NIT Jalandhar campus is good. It has a good infrastructure and a land area of 153 acres. Completely operational green campus. It is situated outside of the city. Nearly 20 km separate the ISBT Jalandhar campus from the city railway station. The closest market for your daily needs shopping is in the city of Bidhipur. Food: The hostel food is standard. but it's still superior to a lot of NITs. On campus, there are some canteen facilities. You are free to eat whatever you want there. Hostels: It is a good idea. This year, they are getting better. Additionally, as a student, you'll find it to be generally comfortable. Timings: First-year students have a limited number of timings. After 8 o'clock at night, they must leave. After the first year, nobody will be able to stop them from wandering around at night. Sports: The facilities include basketball, volleyball, and football courts. A badminton court and other sporting supplies can be found in the gym. There is a modest but useful gym there. Faculty: All but a few majors have excellent faculties.
