Band 6 IELTS Answer

Both the number of visitors to the Cairo Museum in 2013 and 2015, as well as their opinions on their visit, are compared in the table and charts.

It is noteworthy that, overall, both the number of visitors and their favourable perception of the museum increased throughout this period. However, it coincides with a sharp increase in visits.

The chart shows that the number of visitors to the Cairo Museum grew dramatically. It was between the period before renovations began and the time after they were finished. It further increased by 1 million visitors in just two years, from 2.5 million in 2013 to 3.5 million in 2015. In terms of visitor satisfaction, 50% of those questioned in 2013 reported being either unhappy (40%) or very unsatisfied (10%).

In 2015, just 20% of respondents overall voiced one of those beliefs. As a result, these rates are noticeably different.
