    IELTS Average Score for Academic and General Sections

    IELTS average score ranges on a scale of IELTS band 6.5 to band 8.     IELTS Listening Average Score

    IELTS Listening is the first module in IELTS test. Average score for IELTS listening is band 8.0.

    IELTS Speaking average score ranges from 6.5-8. Speaking section is of 11-14 minutes and requires candidates to engage in an informal conversation with the examiner. The assessment criteria remains same for both academic and general patterns.
