IELTS General Writing Task 1 assesses candidates willing to work or migrate abroaD. There are three types of questions in IELTS letter writing including- formal, informal and semi-formal. Candidates need to write 150 words in 20 minutes. Candidates should use the proper tone of writing IELTS letter and should actively practise letter writing. Informal Letter IELTS 

Informal letter in GT Writing Task 1 is addressed to someone with whom a close relationship is shared and the topic is based on discussing personal matters.
