    IELTS reading tests include 40 questions to be answered in one hour. Both IELTS academic reading and IELTS general reading have distinct sections. The major difference in the syllabus is their sources:

    1. IELTS Academic reading consists of passages from academic sources like books, magazines, newspapers all of which are targeted for candidates aspiring to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate studies.
    2. IELTS General Training reading consists of passages like advertisements, magazines, journals all of which are required for candidates planning to work/migrate abroad.

    Complete the summary type questionsIn these types of questions, the context and the fair understanding of the passage are of utmost importance.
    True/False/Not Given or Yes/No/Not GivenFor these types of questions, candidates need to understand the writer’s perspectives and then answer.
