Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

Independence is frequently the main driver behind some young people' eagerness to leave their parents' home. But the real query is: are they prepared? Well, most of them aren't, if not all of them. These young people' aggressive mindset prevented them from seeing the enormous responsibility that their freedom involves. They must be prepared for this decision emotionally, physically, and financially. This is not realistic, in my opinion, for a variety of reasons.

The majority of these young adults are still in school, to start with. In the sense that kids can receive the direction and help they require, it would be preferable if they were with their parents. Additionally, having a justification to act recklessly because they are living alone will only make their life worse. What I'm trying to imply is that since they are already self-sufficient and have all the privacy they require, they are free to do whatever they like. What would happen if some young girls ended up becoming pregnant at a very young age? Give up your studies in order to hunt for a full-time job to support the child. These young folks should consider the costs of independence before embracing freedom.

However, being with the family at this point in their lives will help them choose the appropriate course. Other than academics, these young people have nothing else on their minds. This is a Filipino custom. Until we are married, we reside with our parents. We appreciate our families for guiding us through life, especially our parents, for this reason. We feel emotionally, spiritually, and financially secure because of them. It is just so comforting to know that you are not alone and that you can always turn to them for support when things go tough. We always have the opportunity to support and be there for our family while we live with them.

There's no rush; independence is only around the corner. When you're prepared, it tastes better.

Band 8 IELTS Essay

When an adolescent grows into a young adult, they frequently start making their own decisions. One such choice that a young adult must make is whether to live with or apart from their family. Even if the alternative appears exciting, as a young adult I would want to live alone.

Living alone, in my opinion, gives a person a sense of independence when it comes to choosing other choices. Young adults who begin living alone make judgments regarding other matters early on, decisions that are crucial for their survival and the maintenance of their independence. For instance, a young adult living alone would need to manage his spending, savings, and other financial matters. In order to continue leading a sustainable life, he would need to strike a balance between them. The young adult's initial objective of independence will be frustrated if his or her spending exceeds his or her savings. As a result, the young adult will be forced to rely on his or her parents. As a result, the young adult must learn how to make wise judgments that will enable him to maintain his level of independence in the future.

A person who has developed such self-dependence will likewise do better and sooner in life than someone who has always relied on their parents. Most notably, the latter would lack sound judgment in regards to key events that would arise in his near future and would frequently need assistance from others in order to either make wise judgements or feel secure about the decisions he makes. On the other hand, the former, who has previously made such judgments independently, would be familiar with how to balance the benefits and drawbacks of his own choice.

Band 8.5 IELTS Essay

Regarding how long young adults should live with their parents, there are three distinct perspectives. Depending on the individual, young adults can start living independently of their parents at different ages. Some young people might benefit from staying with their parents longer, while others would not. Young adults should live separately from their parents as soon as feasible, in my opinion. In this paper, I discuss many arguments in favor of the proposition that young adults gain a lot from early independence.

First of all, when teens mature into young adults, their demands and way of life change. Most teenagers wish to be out of their parents as soon as possible. Because they want to be liberated from parental control and to be able to do anything they want, they would prefer independence. I know I was raised in a loving household, and my parents are extremely encouraging. When I was 10 years old, I moved away from home to pursue my education in a different city. I had to live alone, but I also had a lot of freedom. Compared to my other friends who were living with their parents, I had more flexibility to contemplate and decide what to do with my life.

Being independent from a young age also gives young adults positive experiences like learning fundamental life skills and how to make decisions on their own. According to my own experience, when I was a high school student and moved out on my own, I learnt a lot. I gained knowledge about how to cook, clean, mend things, and make judgments. At that age, it was quite difficult, but I'm very glad I got through it. I would not have acquired useful life skills if my parents had not sent me to school and had not given me early independence.

Living independently at a young age teaches young individuals important lessons about taking responsibility for oneself. When I was in high school, I recall that I had more self-responsibility than my peers who lived with their parents. I have to juggle managing my daily routine with studying, getting ready for university, and taking care of my finances. After a year of struggle, I was able to arrange my life and start juggling many things at once. These teachings aid in my development as a responsible individual. On the other hand, spending so much time with parents may put young adults in risky circumstances.Young individuals will not have many opportunities to master crucial skills like decision-making and problem-solving since parents often support and give their kids whatever they desire.

In conclusion, young adults may gain much from beginning their own lives early. One gains independence and priceless life lessons by living alone. However, each young adult's level of maturity determines whether it is suitable to live freely.
