Band 7 IELTS Answer

A specific group of individuals frequently asserts that art, in its many forms. Contributes valuable knowledge and tradition to life, although other groups of people contest this assertion. Displaying cultural values and ethics in many forms. Such as sculptures, modern art, portraits, and performance arts, is crucial in my opinion for both the present and the future generations.

On the one hand, some communities lack enthusiasm for craft. Also, it doesn't draw many people because it takes some explanation to explain the concept behind it to them. For instance, antique sculptures from museums are displayed, but not everyone has the skills to decipher the writings. But, unlike the general public, archaeology students find it to be more fascinating. Also, the general public thinks that various performance arts are outdated in today's society.

On the other hand, all forms of artistic impressionism created by our ancestors inspire pride in us. Since it illustrates their way of life and the principles they upheld. Also, it exhibits the old community's culture and texts. Also, it directs us on where to find the medications and instructs us on the methods used in earlier times. For instance, the majority of contemporary inventions are derived from sculptures that our forebears left us. For instance, people from earlier times prophesied the galaxy and left it for our age as stone art. And painting, which is how the modern world is creating the most cutting-edge technology.

In conclusion, the general public needs to understand that art serves as a vehicle for teaching the next generation moral principles and coping mechanisms. Humans and art have been intertwined for a long time, changing society and passing it on to future generations. In my opinion, art serves as more than just a diversion because it contains a wealth of knowledge and values. As a result, it imparts useful information to life.

Band 7.5 IELTS Answer

Some people believe that making art is a worthwhile endeavor. While others claim that it is merely a meaningless diversion that makes people want to avoid doing their jobs. Nonetheless, in order to distinguish humans from animals, aesthetics is important. As I agree with both of these points of view, I shall attempt to discuss them in this article.

First and foremost, art lends meaning to our existence since aesthetics depend heavily on visual art. Aesthetics is also essential to humankind. For instance, Gaudi's structures in Barcelona are not just residences but also works of art. On the other hand, even if one were to live in a drab grey dormitory, they might begin to feel unworthy of happiness. Or significance in life because of the environment. Furthermore, art is what sets us apart from other species. Because none of them are known to perform an artistically pleasing action for just immaterial reasons.

On the other hand, because it offers no true value, art diverts people from reality. It can be explained by the fact that whereas art is appreciated only on aesthetic grounds, the capitalistic system values material worth. Additionally, because artists do not contribute to the economic well-being of society, proletariat members must also work for them. Yet, employees might start to develop an interest in art or love aesthetics, which would diminish labor productivity and worsen the economy.

According to French philosopher Albert Camus, we create and enjoy art to prevent self-immolation. I concur with this statement, observing that art helps us escape the harsh realities of life and creates the illusion of a purposeful existence.

In conclusion, art distinguishes humankind from other species, produces aesthetically pleasing surroundings, and gives people a sense of purpose in their lives. Art doesn't produce any tangible value, but on the other hand, it decreases productivity. While I concur with each of these points, I tend to think that art is especially important as a diversion from daily life.

Band 8 IELTS Answer

It is easier to approach art in several ways in the modern day. While some contend that art is one of the things that gives people's lives purpose and meaning. Others think that it could deceive people about the nature of reality.

People need the arts to survive. Throughout our life, we will inevitably face challenges or difficulties. Arts can help you navigate those challenges and pull you out of the depths of homelessness. People can participate in the arts in a wide range of ways, each of which causes them to feel something different. Consider how some calming music might uplift you and improve your mood. Another illustration of a way to communicate your heart and inner thoughts is through painting. People may be inspired to think in a new, or even completely different, viewpoint while making art, which in turn creates the meaning of life.

On the other hand, some people believe that the arts are a waste of time. The process of appreciating the arts, as opposed to producing them, takes time and money. Some people, especially the poor, lead busy lives in order to make a living. They hardly had enough time to support and maintain their daily lives through hard work. Much less engage in extracurricular activities like the arts. Such as visiting galleries or exhibitions to comprehend the message that the composer or creator is attempting to convey. Or buying various supplies to make their own works of art.

In my opinion, people from all areas of life have very different perspectives on the arts. It relies on your capacity and financial situation. After all, money gives people the flexibility and room to engage in artistic expression as a means of escaping reality. As a result, if you are fortunate enough, I think that the arts are a good form of diversion from everyday life.
