Title: What positive effects does good parenting have on a child's development?

Band 6 IELTS Essay

Many people believe that a child's growth is greatly influenced by their parents and family. While there are ,many others believe that friends, teachers, and the environment have a greater influence on children's behaviour. This essay will examine both points of view. But in my opinion, parental and familial impacts are crucial for a child's healthy development.

While environmental and external factors are more helpful for helping them succeed in life. First and foremost, parents have a significant influence on their children's development, especially in terms of helping to mould a happy childhood. Parents teach in their children a sense of family, relationships, responsibility, and punctuality, which has an impact on their maturity. Many psychologists believe that parental love and care foster the development of a child's character, but poor parenting frequently destroys it. In addition, kids tend to imitate their parents and end up looking more like them. This one data alone demonstrates how crucial it is for a youngster to have a family and supportive parents. On the other hand, in order to succeed and confront life, a child should interact with society. They must attend school, engage with teachers and neighbours, make friends, overcome obstacles, learn from our surroundings, and gather social experiences. All of these elements play important roles in a child's life. While teaching them how to overcome these challenges in real life, parents protect their children from risks. Children experience a variety of experiences outside the house that teach them how to handle their own difficulties. Additionally, schools teach kids priceless lessons that enable them to build a sense of community and lead normal lives outside of their immediate families. To sum up, social connections and outside variables are crucial and cannot be overlooked for a child's entire development. But, parents influence their child's development in more than one way and in a greater quality.

While parents undoubtedly play a significant role in how their child grows as they become older. There are also many people who think that societal influences from outside the family now have a greater impact on children. However, I think parents have a bigger influence on a child's outlook. Furthermore, due to its relative prevalence, psychologists are undoubtedly learning more about the positive effects of this universal thinking.

Also, without a doubt, factors outside the family surrounding have a big impact on a child's growth both emotionally and mentally. The internet and television are two examples. Children today have much greater access to them than in the past. And as a result, they will learn new languages and see things that will inform them about life. Friends have a significant role in a child's development since kids frequently imitate peers they respect and admire. This behaviour might be constructive, but it also might be harmful, like smoking or abusing drugs. However, the people that matter most in the end are your family. Particularly during their early years, kids spend almost all of their time with their families. Through their interactions with them, they grow in their self-assurance, socialisation abilities, morals, values, and worldviews. The differences between certain youngsters serve as evidence of how important this is. People who are raised in dysfunctional homes frequently go on to have problems of their own. Whereas people who are raised in warm, close-knit environments tend to be more secure and confident as adults. To sum up, the family is the only institution that can offer a comforting, safe, and nurturing atmosphere. It has a significant impact on how a youngster develops into an adult. Although it is obvious that social factors and other people play a role, I would contend that the former is the factor that is most crucial.

Band 7 IELTS Essay

One of the obvious beliefs today is the massive increase in the number of people who think that parental nurturing has had a significant impact on a child's growth. Social scientists are surely learning more about the beneficial consequences of this universal thinking because it is relatively prevalent. They discovered that raising children with well-behaved parents can boost and grow their cognitive and behavioural development.

As well as help them acquire positive character traits. In the beginning, behavioural cognition appears to be the core components that parents assist their children in developing in early life. How kids behave politely and respectfully toward others in the sociocultural context that is represented in their surroundings in line with potential changes. Parents often teach and pass along a broad variety of moral precepts, which greatly aid in creating well-mannered generations in the future. In addition, the community would be prosperous and growing since more and more people nowadays are taking responsibility for nearly all aspects of their lives. Moreover, a child's character development may be influenced by how they view their parents' personalities, such as whether they are forceful or even ambitious. They are typically driven by the pursuit of greatness, and as a result, they strive to act honourably and attain their objectives. As a result, self-awareness and self-perception help children develop healthy lifestyles and gain the confidence to pursue their goals. Nevertheless, good parenting practices can help children develop both their intellect and their character. And some of these traits can even be passed down from earlier generations or relatives. Therefore, the most dominant aspects of the parent's model have a variety of effects on children's development at the early stages. It should not be generally undervalued. Having said that, whereas parents have a significant influence on how kids develop in terms of their understanding of conduct and character development. These impacts will lose their efficacy and become unrealistic if parents do not encourage regular interaction with their kids.
