The above mentioned bar chart portrays a critical comparison with respect to the amount of graduates from UK universities that were international graduates. The comparison is between the year 2000 and 2015. The chart shown above is an inclusion of six different universities, namely; London, Cardiff, Bristol, Bath, Oxford and Cambridge.

It can be concluded from the above-mentioned graph that the most number of graduates availed their degrees from Oxford and Cambridge in the year 2000. Bristol and Bath on the other hand had the lowest number of international graduates in comparison to other universities. Moreover, the statistics for the total number of international graduates for the year 2015 for the universities; Bath and Bristol continued to remain low. In addition to that, Oxford and Cambridge continued to hold the title of highest number of international graduates in the year 2015.

The numerical values of these percentages can be highlighted as 15% and 14%. In comparison to Cambridge and Oxford, none of the other universities had a tenth of their graduates coming from overseas. Bristol and Bath held the lowest position in this list with the percentage being 6% and 7%.

Cardiff, on the other hand had twice as many international graduates with the percentage being 5% for the year 2000 and 10 % for the year 2015.

With a quarter of its graduates classified as international, Oxford topped the list of universities with the most international graduates in 2015. In similar terms, Cambridge, with almost 23% of its graduates from abroad, had the second-highest number. Bristol and Bath had the fewest overseas graduates, as was the case in 2000, with roughly 6% from Bristol and 12% from Bath.

Band 6.5 IELTS Answer
