Topic: Nowadays, education overseas has become more accessible and growing numbers of people send their offspring to study in other countries. However, this trend has its detractors. I strongly believe that the pros far outweigh the cons, and will examine both below.

Band 8 IELTS Essay

The most popular trend in today's world is studying abroad. Every parent has a tendency to send their children to other countries so that they can earn a higher education. Despite the fact that this trend has some drawbacks, I strongly consider the numerous advantages. It has far more importance than its drawbacks. The subject will be discussed in depth in this essay, along with my perspective, and a logical conclusion will be provided.

Let's start by looking at this statement's benefits. Foreign education and a wide range of courses that are most useful for a better career are one of the main benefits. As a result, students can choose a degree that best fits their talents and interests. Second, they will have better job prospects if they take a course at a foreign university. If that's the case, they can live happily. For instance, preference for job selection is given to applicants with master's degrees in their field from overseas universities. Additionally, understudies are presented to new social orders. As a result, they will gain new knowledge from other people, giving them a chance to learn the local language.

However, there are some drawbacks that undermine this argument and overwhelm the trend's potential impact. The most alarming is that children can learn to ignore our traditional values and adapt to new cultures and customs. In general, people in other countries have different ways of eating and dressing than we do.

To summarize everything that has been said thus far, individuals send minors to other nations to impart knowledge that significantly improves their lives. Its potential disadvantages should also not be overlooked.

Band 7 IELTS Essay

People encourage their children to study abroad because of the numerous advantages and simple admissions procedures at foreign universities. In fact, this trend is getting more and more popular every day. However, some people believe that it has a number of drawbacks that cannot be ignored. The reasons for my choice are discussed in the preceding paragraphs. I wholeheartedly concur with this viewpoint.

To begin, children who study abroad are better prepared to compete on the global market. This is essential for everyone's success in this fast-paced world. Additionally, students gain a broader knowledge base through international education, which positively impacts their employment prospects. However, by heavily charging international students, foreigners can generate substantial revenue. As a result, they also make it possible for students from other countries to study in their countries.

Despite the numerous advantages, some critics do not accept this culture. They believe that sending children to a foreign country may damage their local culture and customs. This is because students who study abroad are expected to accept the culture of the host nation. Furthermore, the rising number of assaults against international students makes it uncomfortable for some parents to send their children abroad. For instance, a recent survey revealed that the United States and Australia account for 20% of the increase in international students.

In conclusion, even though it has a few drawbacks, I strongly believe that families should send their children to study abroad for their own benefit.

Band 6 IELTS Essay

The children's ability to function on their own is one of the greatest benefits of overseas education. Once they go abroad and stay alone, they learn to cook, clean, and pay the bills on their own. They learn the importance of work and money management because they frequently have to work part-time to make ends meet. The fact that these children will be exposed to different cultures and ways of thinking is a very important factor for the mother.

They will likely become more adaptable people and become more tolerant and open-minded. The increased likelihood that students will find employment abroad is one of the primary motivations for sending them to study there. A foreign education appears to be desirable and helpful in obtaining a decent job. For instance, a degree from Britain is thought to be of a higher standard than one from a developing nation.

Additionally, the ability to speak a second language fluently is a selling point for potential employers when living abroad. Numerous businesses are eager to hire individuals with a global perspective. However, there are a few drawbacks. For instance, children's newfound freedom without parental supervision may encourage harmful behaviors like drinking and drug use. Hesitance or powerlessness to reintegrate into their homeland is another.

In conclusion, it is evident that the benefits of studying abroad for children outweigh the drawbacks. Of course, a lot depends on the child's age, but I think it would be a good experience for most teenagers.
