There are two main influential components in our society. There are several media such as the Internet, satellite channels, TV and political figures. As per recent exploration, we have seen that the impact of social platforms and television is more than that of political leaders. In the essay I will establish that public networking is a more leading aspect for people than political characters.

Common people cannot change the politics. They have the right to change the leaders only. Hence, politics is an inevitable element which has some potential effects on society. There are different types of politicians. Firstly, there are some leaders who are insightful, shrewd and have the ability to mesmerize any person in a short while. Since they are mesmerized, the general public are enamored and regarded as their well wishers. They can alter the shape of society by their charismatic behavior. For example, Bangabondhu Shiekh Mujibur Rahman, the founder and father of Bangladesh, was a well-known person nationwide. He did many salutary jobs for the population of Bangladesh. He was influential and this led him to gain the support and attention of the public.

I believe that political trends might have various impacts on people. However, they are pretty small if compared to social media and Television. Social multimedia and TV have the most significant role in people’s life on a daily basis. People get to interact with advanced tools and technology everyday. People get news everyday on social media platforms with videos and images. This leads them to believe in those news which impacts their life. In addition to it, numerous occult reports can be notified frequently on the Internet and TV. For instance, most Indians often become busy on Facebook, Twitter and prominent satellite channels instead of following political controllers. This keeps them informed about some covert occurrences of their country which generally are not revealed by the leaders. They spend most of their time on social media sites and try to do what they see. The same goes for TV. If a child sees a sportsperson, he/ she wants to make them their idol. It affects and impacts their life. Politics usually does not do so.

We can conclude that the impact of TV is more than the political leaders. The essay indicated the Internet and TV are more indispensable than political figures.

Recently, a social issue related to media and politicians which brings bigger influence has been widely discussed. Some argue that politicians play a more important role for citizens. As far as technology and globalization are concerned, I strongly hold that the media have a greater influence over people's lives.

With the advancement and development of technology, TV and media have reached every home. Not only that, people can watch TV on their mobile and go through various social media websites. No matter whether children or adults, everyone can get information from various kinds of media. This definitely influences people's minds significantly. For instance, children who like watching violent programs may commit violent crimes. In addition, nowadays, individuals can watch many programs from other countries with different cultures. Children who love to watch sports may become a sports star and bring their country in front of the whole world. This not only affects their minds but impacts their future. People get to know different cultures and history. This affects their life and they might fall in love with something they never imagined. I believe that different cultures, episodes, programmes shown on TV affect the life of individuals deeply.

On the other hand, politicians know that they would be opposed by residents if the policies change people's lives too much. So the majority of policies just influence a small part of people or have a slight influence over our lives. The Chinese government banned mining online several months ago. This influenced the lives of minors but not all citizens.

In conclusion, I believe that the media is playing a significant role in our daily life. They have a much bigger influence over citizens' lives than politicians.

Band 7 IELTS Essay

TV, media and the internet play a very important role in our lives. During the last 2-3 decades, they have gained access to our life in a huge way. Most of the things that we do involve the internet.. Nowadays many people are using the internet and television. People believe that this mode of entertainment may influence more than politicians. I am going to discuss all the points supporting this claim.

To begin with, the internet is the best invention for mankind. How people use it depends on them. Nowadays, everyone is on social media, for example, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and many more. These are good for communication and online business but may have a negative impact on the children who have misused this platform. This might get them distracted from many essential things like study, career, self-esteem and family. Many juveniles leave schooling and become a full-time influencer. Moreover parents also compare their child with others and try to make them perfect in every field. Now, this is on the parents and the children on how they will use social media and the internet. All in all, the internet and television affects and impacts the lives of people, be it positive or negative.

On the other hand, politicians also give young adults the wrong path. Young adults see the power and want to become like them. For instance, the intentions to earn money from the citizens have a bad impact on our next young generation. However, this impact of the politicians is on a small genre of people. Not everyone falls for this trap. All in all, the media is a boon to us but we have used it in the right way.
