Letter to Your Penfriend IELTS General Writing Task 1 is a letter writing topic. The letter follows an informal approach. It contains three model answers that have three paragraphs namely the introduction, body, and conclusion. The letter must be clear and to the point.
IELTS General Writing Task 1 includes letter writing. It might be in formal, informal, or semi-formal patterns. Candidates need to complete the task within 20 minutes. IELTS Writing Practice Papers can be considered for the students' writing section preparation and enhance their writing skills effectively. IELTS writing score is marked based on band scores. The band scores range from 0 to 9.

Dear Smith,
My name is Michael, and I'm hoping that Mrs.Julie, our English teacher, told you anything about me. She has been my personal favorite for a few months now. Since her lessons consistently motivate me to study and write about important social issues.
I usually spend my free time reading books. I love all types of genres but my personal favorite are non fiction books. I love getting motivation from nonfiction books. Reading books is like therapy for me. It also improves my mental health. Watching family movies, and writing articles are also a few things I love to do in my free time. I love to write articles on any topic which fascinates me. I try to write more about universal facts and deep thoughts and theories which might be a curiosity for many. But I'm now really busy with my program preparation because my exam is next month.
You'll be delighted to learn that my prior writing was included in a city magazine and received praise from the mayor.
I think I've covered a lot of ground in terms of my interests, but I'd still like to learn more about you and your interests. It would be wonderful if I could pick up some of your interests. Looking forward to meeting you soon and hearing from you.

My name isOlivia, and I am 20 years old. Because you and I both enjoy writing letters and because Mr.Collins, my English teacher, thinks we might get along. I am writing this letter to introduce myself, my interests and hobbies. Also, it will be beneficial for us to get along and work together. I was ecstatic when he mentioned it because finding a pen pal these days might be challenging.
Since the commencement of the college in question, I have been residing here in New York, so only four months have passed. I had only ever lived in Brazil before, so this was my first time traveling outside of it. I live with a Chinese girl who, like me, is pursuing her accountancy degree at a separate time. I love reading psychology based novels in my free time. If you will read my earlier articles you will find that they are mostly on psychological disorders or mental health awareness. Actually I love psychology and I want to help and aware people as much as possible. So besides my interest in psychology I love watching funny and motivational movies. One of my favorites is “A Pursuit of Happiness”. I also love spending time in nature and having a walk outside. I would love to know your hobbies and interests.
