Dear Meena,
How have you been? I hope you are in good health. I am writing this letter to cheer you with some good news and make you a part of it. Recently the previous week, there was a photography contest taking place in our locality. There were many residents participating in it. As you are aware that I love photography and I never step back in such opportunities.
So the theme of the contest was “Something not seen”. I searched for the best places in our city. Finally I concluded at a place where it was between the forests and there was a mindblowing waterfall depicting the immense beauty. It amazed me by its serenity and amazing beauty. I Clicked the best shot of it and submitted it for the contest. Yesterday I got an email announcing that I won the contest and my photograph will be displayed in the local artcraft gallery. The event is on Next Monday at around 4 PM in the evening. THere will be many guests and I will be given a prize for winning the contest. I want you to join me in the event. I would really love your acquaintance as you motivate me to pursue photography. Soi my success comes from your motivation. I want to share this success with you.

Band 8 IELTS Letter
Dear Mohit,
How are you? I hope this letter finds you in good health. I want to announce good news through this letter. Also, it is an invitation for you to join me in an exhibition. Over 50 people took part in a photographic event that took place in my office last month. You are aware of my love of photography, therefore I've also shared one of my images from my collection.
Fortunately, I was able to take home the top award against such brilliant competitors, and I couldn't help but want to express my joy to you. But if you remember, I took a picture of two school-age kids when we were in Dharamshala two months ago. The topic was “Lost in Memories”. I couldn't think of something better than that picture which depicted childhood and also memories. I think this was the thing that made the judges and I won the prize.
An exhibition will be organized on Tuesday at Club Mirana to display all the best pictures and the winning photograph of mine. Also, I will be awarded some cash money prize. I want you to join me and enjoy the evening with me.

Dear Henry,
How have you been? I hope this letter finds you in good health. I want to cheer you up with some good news. The event is organized by the mayor of our town and will feature captivating images for the locals to view. Also, it was the best opportunity to show my work and get out in front of the public. The display will draw many visitors. You are aware of my love for photography.
When I was in Gujarat last year, I took a picture of two women at a well. One was bringing water from the well while the other assisted her. I merely clicked on it at random. After that, submit it into the photography contest. For this click, I received first place honors and a reward of Rs. 5000. The topic for the contest was “Old culture”. This photograph of mine suited me best for the contest.
They will now include my shot in the display. On December 15, the exhibition will be hosted at Blue Heart, next to Clock Chowk. You have a big contribution in my success and winning. You always have motivated me to participate in such contests and pursue my love for photography. I would love to celebrate this with you.
