Band 6 IELTS Letter

Dear Sir,

I'm writing to inquire about a summer job working part-time at your museum store. During my summer break, I would really like to work a part-time job. Ideally at a place where I can learn new things and interact with people from different backgrounds. I sincerely hope you will give my application some thought and consider hiring me. History is one of the subjects I teach at an elementary grammar school. I am 26 years old and have recently graduated from an arts major. I have excellent English, Sinhala, and Tamil skills. I thoroughly enjoyed my summertime job working in a sizable bookstore the previous year. I want to network with new people and work hard and devotedly to fulfil my duties in my position. A few months ago, I spent a lot of time at your museum and I had a great experience. I am acquainted with the kinds of goods your store offers to customers because I recently visited your museum shop with a group. Please give me the benefit of the doubt and think of me as a qualified applicant for this position. In order to further explore my application for the position, I hope to hear from you shortly.

Sincerely,
Nikhilesh

Band 6.5 IELTS Letter

Dear Madam,

I am writing in response to a job posting that appeared in the Daily Observer on March 27, 2020, to apply for the part-time position at your City Museum shop. History is my major, and I am currently a third-year student at Lincoln College. I'd want to talk to you about a potential job at your museum shop while we are currently on summer holiday in order to obtain some good work experience. The 2020 summer break is scheduled to run from June 1 through March 30, according to our college. I will be available during these times and am available to work full- or part-time, depending on your needs. For eight months in the beginning of 2018, I worked in a regional history museum in my hometown. Additionally, I have a strong aptitude for maths and technology. I am confident that your company would benefit greatly from having me. Since I was a young child, I have been incredibly interested in history and museums. In this city, there isn't a museum I haven't seen. I adore your museum since it houses a wide range of historical artefacts and a sizable audio-visual collection. I am aware of how crucial the store is for attracting customers who want to buy antiques and collectibles. I'm confident that I can increase your sales. I think my passion for history and museums, along with my relevant experience, will make me a strong contender for this post. I'm willing to talk about more in a formal interview whenever you're ready.

Faithfully,
Sania

Band 7 IELTS Letter

Dear Sir,

A job listing for a sales executive position at your City Museum shop was just published in a local newspaper, and I happened to notice it. As a temporary part-time worker throughout the summer, I would like to apply for the position. I'm hoping you would give my application for the position some thought and offer me the opportunity to talk more about it in a formal interview. I have an accounting degree from a reputable university and am well-versed in customer service. In addition, I have two years of experience working as a front desk agent for a telecom business. I'd like to work for your museum shop as I'll have some free time during the summer. I am aware that the majority of the products it sells are antiques, books, notebooks, and trinkets. I have no doubt that your team would benefit greatly from having me on it. To work in a position that is both demanding and fulfilling is the motivation behind applying for this job. I'll have the chance to interact with people from many places and cultures at the same time. My holidays would become much more thrilling and meaningful if this were to happen. I hope to see you soon.

Your Sincerely,
Edgar
