Band 7 IELTS Letter

Dear Ateesh,

How are you? I hope you are doing well. I would like to first thank you for making the Trip to Brazil memorable. It was because of you planning the trip which made it very enjoyable.

It was a beautiful journey. I particularly cannot forget the old town. It was filled with graceful tranquility, colorfully painted pastel buildings, and music in the streets. It was the experience of a lifetime. I lived my dreams on this trip with you. I am writing this letter to request a photo that I took in Brazil.

I am sure you remember me standing in the middle of a crowd as if I was a local resident. You clicked a picture of that scenario. I was impressed with that picture. It was one of the next pictures I had. The picture portrayed a different me in it and the lighting worked like magic. I am very sad to find out that I somehow misplaced the picture. I am unable to find it in my luggage or anywhere else. .

The picture is very special for me as it was one of the most memorable experiences that I had. The new traditions, ways of life that I learnt, taught me many life lessons. It was the representation of who I am. I would like to frame the photo and keep it in my study. I would be grateful if you could send me that particular picture at your convenience.

Dear Ateesh,

I hope this letter finds you to the best of your health. I am sure that you are safe and sound. I had a great time with you and the group on our Goa trip. Thanks to you for planning such an awesome trip.

I loved every moment of our trip to Goa. The culture, food, beaches, mountains and pubs everything amused me. The people there are totally different. They are so relaxed. I loved the owner of the villa that we stayed in. He was fantastic and very chilled out. I remember the night when he arranged a campfire for us. I was looking for photos of that night. However, I could not find the photos. I am writing this letter to ask if you have any copies of that photo. It was all four of us friends sitting together beside the campfire. It showed our friendship and the strong bond between us.

I am sure you remember the picture. It was taken by the landlord when you were talking about our childhood. I was very emotional that night and this picture is a symbol of that. I hope you have it so that you can send a copy to me.

I will be awaiting your response. Please get back to me as soon as possible.

Band 6.5 IELTS Letter

Hi Rishav,

I hope you and your family are doing well. I was pleased to have you on our Jaipur trip. I was very excited as we got to see each other after so many years. I know we stay a long distance from each other, but I cherish the friendship that we have for life.

Coming to the main issue of writing this letter, I was looking for a photo of mine. We clicked a few pictures in front of Jal Mahal in traditional dresses. I am sure that you remember the pictures. I am unable to find those photos since I require it for my portfolio. I am sure you have a copy of the pictures with you. I had clicked a solo picture of mine in that traditional dress. Can you please send me that photograph as soon as possible and that too before this Wednesday.

I am asking for that particular photograph since I am applying for modeling. It will be an asset for my portfolio.

I was traveling with my bag in a bus and due to the crowd, it got lost. I had a few photos in that bag for the portfolio. I got all the other photos but not that. Please send it to me as soon as possible. I will be glad if you can send the photo.
