Band 7 IELTS Letter

Dear A.R. Rahman,

I think music is the most important way to heal any person’s heart. From my early childhood, I started listening music. My father actually grown the seed of listening variety of music in me. He told me about you at first. I listened one of your songs, named Vande Mataram. From that day onwards, I truly became a huge fan of yours. I started following up all of your albums. I made the collection of your songs till date. Each and every song you have sung is utterly a masterpiece. Besides your song, I also became a huge fan of the music you creates. Thus the combination of both of your songs and music creates the shivers in my body and also tranquility.

I always wanted to visit for a concert, where I can feel the essence of your concert from the front. Recently, your concert in Guwahati, Assam made it possible for me. It was held at the ACA stadium. One of my friend just knocked me by telling about it, and I became so excited that I wasted no time and urged my father to let me go for it.

This concert of yours will be one of my most favorite and memorable one. It was a Magnum Opus for me. I want to keep this concert forever in my heart. I cried literally at each and every songs of yours, as it was my dream to see you singing from the front. However, I forgot to reach you at the time when you were giving the autographs to the people. Second, I'd want to discuss my musical history, which began in kindergarten. Despite having started to learn the piano, I ultimately decided to pick up the guitar, in part due to you, of course. I'm requesting your advice since I need to work on my skills.

Again, I want to thank you so much for the wonderful contribution you made in the field of music and pleasing my ears by your creation.

Yours sincerely,
Kaustav Chatterjee

Dear Dan Reynolds,

I want to congratulate you on a fantastic performance you gave in Las Vegas yesterday evening because I am a major fan of both your music and writing. Everyone, I'm sure, took full advantage of this. For me and my friends who were also at the event, it was simply amazing and thrilling. I've always wanted to attend one of your live performances, therefore yesterday was one of the finest days of my life because I finally got the chance. I first heard your song "Radioactive" when I was a child.

I want to congratulate you on a fantastic performance you gave in Las Vegas yesterday evening since I love your music and writing so much.

I'm a budding musician who began learning how to play the electric guitar and drums when I was just nine years old. In addition to writing a few songs for the band I play in, I can also play the flute. In fact, for the past six years, I have played in a local band named "Blisters" that predominantly plays pop and rock music. As a musician and songwriter, you have always been my idol. Even though I know you must be quite busy, I truly wish you would mentor me and me some advice so I may improve in music. I would much appreciate it if you could give up some of your valuable time to mentor me. This will assist me greatly to improve my abilities and confidence. I sincerely appreciate all that you have given to the music industry.

Yours sincerely,
Håvard Hernes

Dear James,

I'm writing to let you know that I saw your performance yesterday at the Jazz Festival and really enjoyed it. I attended the music festival since I'm your biggest fan, and it was amazing. Even though I am aware that you are the best, listening to you made me drool because of how excellent and flawless your performance was. I first heard your song "Destiy Calling" and have been a fan ever since. Your music always made me feel calm and provides my ears a good feeling. Second, I'd want to discuss my musical history, which began in kindergarten. Though I had begun studying the piano, I ultimately opted to pick up the guitar, in part due to you, of course. I thought to myself when I first heard your voice, as your voice is out of this planet. I try to play the guitar as well as I can, but I could use some tips on how to get better. Despite having played the guitar for ten years, I occasionally struggle with tunes. I can improve my musical ear if you offer some advise. It will be a great pleasure from my side to learn more about the art of music from you. As it will definitely assist me in my field of music.

I'm eager to hear some sound suggestions from you.

Yours sincerely,
Richard Strauss
