The provided bar charts show a comparison of the pay scales for male and female workers of Minnesota's executive branch from 1976 to 2014.

The graphs clearly show that there was a rise in ladies' overall pay and compensation as well as an increase in the average wage.

When the entire wage range in 1976 was between $7,500 and $17,400, women received the lower compensation. Only 5 to 12% of men earned compensation up to $9,900, compared to 32 to 39% of women. The percentage of women who took a greater salary, which was between $12,001 and $17,400, was just 7, however. About 30–31% of the male employees received this scale.

In 2014, the rate of female employees who received up to $39,999 varied from 6.8 to 21.4 compared to 3.4 and 14.4: the male proportions. From the entire wage spectrum of $19,999 to $80,000 and more. On the other hand, males continued to get better pay, with 23.8 and 16.1% ($60,000 to $79,000 and beyond $80,000), respectively. For females, the rate fell from 21.1 to 11.3 when the income reached $80,000 and beyond.

It's noteworthy to note that in 2014, a greater proportion of both sexes received an average wage between $40,000 and $59,999 than they did in 1976 ($9901 to $12,000).
