Who sent it to you?

I have always wanted to be a part of various important email groups. The "blood donation" email group was one that I belonged to, and the email I received about a couple of years ago was from the manager of this group.

When you received it?

The email described a critically ill person who required a large amount of blood from a specific blood group. Anyway, even though I received the email late, as soon as I read it, I acted and immediately asked for help from one of my friends in my hometown, who luckily shared the same blood group.

When you were expecting it?

I was not expecting this mail. We can never know who might come to a situation of needing blood.

How important it is

The email was obviously very important to me as it enabled me to save the life of a critically ill person when no one else could. Furthermore, the email made me realise the importance of keeping a minimum level of social connection with everyone around us, as they all have the possibilities to save our lives. Finally, the email reminded me that technological advancement has shrunk the world, and that we should never underplay the function of such technologies in saving lives, regardless of where we live or when we require assistance.

After receiving my postgraduate degree from Tagore University, I participated in several job interviews. Suddenly, a multinational corporation invited me to the final interview for a position for which I had previously applied. The internationally renowned Indian tech giant Vipro Technologies sent me an email inviting me to an interview

When you received it?

The email invited me to an interview that was set up for three days after I received the email. I got this Email just one month after my graduation was over.

When were you expecting it?

I was expecting it two months back, but since I did not get any reply, I thought they rejected my resume. But all of sudden I got this.

How important it is?

It was a crucial email for me because I was desperate to work for this company, and the email confirm my interview there. Second, this was my interview confirmation for a big company in my life, and I desperately needed this job at the time. This was therefore very exciting news for me. This bought me hope that I could get employed at a huge company making way for a better career. Also that it gave me confidence that my resume has good potential. It was only after receiving this mail, I was able to tell my parents that finally something new is coming up as they were very worried about my job.

The email arrived on February 20, 2081, and it was sent to me by the university authority where I applied for the scholarship.

When you were expecting it?

Even though I was not entirely certain that I would ever receive the email, I was still waiting for it.

How important it is?

The scholarship was very significant to me because it gave me the chance to study a challenging subject of my selection that is only made available at one university in my nation.

In addition, the scholarship gave me the chance to look after my own needs by avoiding my family, who would never want to leave me alone without perhaps a huge life opportunity like this one. I appreciate receiving the email and scholarship.
