Topic: Concern for the environment is growing and more and more people are choosing to recycle. But some people suggest that recycling is not enough. They believe we need to consume less.

Band 6.5 IELTS Essay

Some people think that recycling holds the answer to resolving the world's environmental issues. Some, though, are of the opinion that we must take further action. They advise cutting back on consumption. Nowadays, there is a growing interest in recycling. People believe that it will aid in preventing environmental damage caused by human activity.

This pattern is leading to a decline in the number of landfills. Government usage of the nation's land for landfills is no longer necessary. So that it can be distributed to individuals who can use it for agriculture, a means of subsistence. And the simultaneous eradication of hunger on a worldwide scale. Some people, however, disagree and think recycling is not the answer. Some regions of the world are not yet ready for recycling. Many governments lack the resources to construct a facility for recycling waste. As well as the chance to teach recycling to their residents through state-sponsored programmes. Recycling is becoming more popular, yet this is insufficient because it does not address the environmental issue on a global scale. Some individuals believe that over consumption is the most pressing issue that requires attention. The status of the environment is losing value to things like clothing, cosmetics, and automobiles. As a result, individuals show less concern for the environment, and the earth becomes more contaminated. It helps to lower the level of pollution if we address overconsumption, which is the primary cause of the worldwide environmental issue. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly concur with the claim that excessive consumption is the root cause of the world's environmental issues. The result of excessive spending is a society preoccupied exclusively with items to buy. Instead than trying to find a solution to the issue of air pollution or the amount of trash in the ocean, they are more concerned with how they look.

Band 7 IELTS Essay

Today's modern era has seen a surge in pollution, which has harmed the ecosystem. There are those who hold the opinion that recycling should be done in order to reduce environmental problems, and there are those who hold opposing viewpoints. They believe that in order to conserve the environment, individuals should consume less.

People should utilise reusable things, and they should use them sparingly, in my opinion. Utilising recyclable materials provides a number of benefits, as is obvious. This claim is supported, among other things, by the fact that less non-biodegradable material would be used when individuals use recyclable products. The environment will suffer, for instance, if people use plastic bags made of non-recyclable material because plastic is difficult to decompose. They can use paper bags, which are easily biodegradable, as an alternative. When individuals start using recyclable products, there will be less pollution because the product will be reused, which is another significant factor. However, consumers should take into account other factors as well, such as lessening their product usage, in addition to recycling. One striking aspect of this idea is that recycling sometimes requires the use of other natural resources and can be expensive. For example, water, which is ultimately a natural resource, is utilised to break down portions of the material. There would eventually be a shortage of these natural assets if individuals used these types of resources to recycle the material. There won't be as much demand for recycling going forward because there will be less product use. Furthermore, consuming only what is absolutely necessary will enable them to preserve money for other needs. From this point on, it is a win-win situation for both people and the environment. As people will be able to conserve the environment by consuming less and spending less, which will ultimately result in savings for people to use in the future. In conclusion, even though recycling is good for the environment, people should use fewer products overall in order to protect the environment.

Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

A large number of people choose recycling as a result of growing environmental concerns in recent years. However, some argue that merely recycling waste is insufficient and offer recommendations for reducing product consumption. This essay will thoroughly examine each argument's proponents and opponents before reaching a judgement.

In order to address environmental issues, it appears that the majority of people favour the reprocess method. They contend that recycling can lessen environmental contamination. People utilise products nowadays and discard them into the environment, contributing to an increase in pollution. Reusing this item would reduce pollution instead of throwing it out on the street. People can make money from it as well. For instance, there are recycling bins erected in several Indian train stations where passengers may deposit their used plastic bottles in exchange for cash. In light of this, recycling techniques not only lessen environmental issues but also enable consumers to save money. Others, on the other hand, claim that the recycling process is insufficient to address environmental issues and recommend reducing product waste. They adhere to the idea that energy may be saved by recycling products. On the other hand, since energy is produced using fuel, pollution is constantly rising. On the other hand, environmental issues decrease when individuals utilise a lot of goods. For instance, a recent survey revealed that if people consume fewer goods, manufacturing industries will also reduce their production. It will result in a reduction in environmental pollution. Therefore, it is more advantageous to reduce pollution by consuming fewer products. In my view, reducing product use and promoting recycling are both effective ways to lessen environmental issues. The number of environmental issues will decline if consumers use enough products and reuse them more frequently. In conclusion, different individuals have varied perspectives on how to address environmental issues, such as using recycling techniques or reducing consumption. In my opinion, using recycled materials effectively helps to solve environmental issues.
